I would talk to him before making a move on anything because he can tell you what works well with what and what isn't worth getting, etc. Personally, I doubt an r-package lip will do much alone, and I don't know what it costs, or the GV, but you will probbably be more happy with a nice set of upgraded sway bars or strut bars if you don't have them yet. Sways on my car made a great difference.

CN...i know you "doubt" what an R package lip does. But, you seem to like miata.net. That site, has someone who helped design the miata R package...im sure he would be able to give you some info that would change your mind. The piece was build IN a wind tunnel and tested for a long ass time. Not trying to argue, or say IM RIGHT YOUR WRONG..Im just telling you the facts that can be found online. Also, if you've ever driven a lipped/non lipped NA..you'de feel it instantly. You seem to make that guy out as the know it all of miata. I should come talk to him, and see what he has to say. Ide love to know why he doesnt run atleast an R lip. Everybody who runs NAs, knows what it does. Its proven, on paper,in tunnels and on tracks.

How is dumping a car on coilovers a good suspension? You didn't upgrade anything else. For example bushings. Bushings play a huge factor in the rigidness of a suspension.

lol...last night i was half asleep on the way home and driving up my driveway i felt this shaking in the car and i was moving slower than normal up my driveway but i didn't think much of it so i hit the gas a little and boost came on crazy fast and i kicked out a little...nothing happened but RWD turbo FTL

last night coming out of harvest diner my car chirpped second....i'm such a pimp in my Tuscani. Yay!

+1 for the icy roads. I was on the brakes a lil with the wheel cut and fricking understeered into a curb at like a whopping 15mph and broke some supension crap. Oh well $500 beaters FTW
