Basically, what I am saying is instead of going through all the trouble of getting the headgasket to seal properly, why not just get a stock Nissan headgasket and call it a day? If you're planning to go FI then ok, but if you're not then a stock one will do just fine.

evomike 10-22-2009 04:33 PM

A stock one will hold boost better cometic is poo I'd never run one like i said before.

Nick Merrone 10-22-2009 06:46 PM

I plan on running forced induction, not sure what type yet. but it will have boost.

russiankid 10-22-2009 06:51 PM

I agree with Mike, I know that stock gaskets can handle boost.

evomike 10-22-2009 06:57 PM

I know stock mitsu gaskets hold over 700 hp

russiankid 10-22-2009 07:07 PM

BMW owners boost with stock headgaskets, and the motors come stock with a 11:5 compression ratio I believe.

TurboTagTeam 10-22-2009 07:30 PM

OEM 4g63 headgaskets are multi-layer metal gaskets...I believe the KA's use a crappy paper one? Don't know....I dont work on truck motors.

Kevin 10-23-2009 01:36 AM

Nick Merrone 10-23-2009 01:58 AM
