thanks, yeah jon did a great job on the engine

well the fuse started blowing again(does the windows, dash and climate control) and it was tracked down to be wires in the engine harness by the lower intake manifold, they melted the outer coating and were touching the manifold and or other the other wires exposed

that is now fixed and should not have to worry about that again (such a relief)

head studs re-torqued
cps rebuilt
ac is working
some small damage done to my door while at the shop fixed at no charge to me

only things now are a small leak from the gas tank
still gotta put on my sunshade

my first time back at the inspection station after the rebuild and i passed!
knew i would i couldn't see any reason for me to fail emissions

carbon fiber windshield cowl installed today, i like it plus my original one was in pretty ruff shape (temporarily had the oem one sprayed black until i replaced it since it was rusted pretty bad)

not much
had a gas leak, the bracket that holds the pump has hard lines that come off of it started leaking got that fixed by using a bracket from another supra that was about to be junked, got it for 10 bucks compared to toyotas crazy price for a new one

while the tank was down had a new filter put in

on the way to the cystic fibrosis car show i had one of the turbo coolant hoses that comes off the water neck was minorly squirting coolant and the clutch fan was spreading it and putting little white spots on everything (dried coolant) got that cleaned up, it was just a clamp that needed to be tighter

InvisibleMonkey 09-23-2010 11:21 AM

Thanks blacktsi!

Julio, wasn't a spray, more like a light mist.

90blacktsiawd 09-23-2010 12:10 PM

Not a problem. Your engine bay was so clean i'd contemplate actually eating off the valve cover. Nice pick up

not much has been going on my car is garaged and im driving the 4runner and plus we are getting a snow storm like every week now lol

i have gotten different seats to replace my torn leather seats same color just in fabric for a really good price and the drivers seat has three more options mine didnt have the power up down, recline and to move foward and backward

i was kind of iffy on getting the fabric seats but the price was awesome and they are still dark and not badly faded also very comfy lol

i also got new boots for the shifter and e brake also had my armrest recovered by julio (empera here on the forums)

streetwars is coming up and the supra will be out of the garage for the spring, summer and fall

so im replacing:
-all the worm gear clamps with t-bolt clamps and two silicone couplers that are messed up (one has a rip in it and the other looks like its starting)
-rack bushings because they are shot
-and since i have no idea when its ever been changed the diff oil

will be going with
http://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?pid=47&pcid=7
and
http://www.fcsdchemicalsandlubricant...nsaxle%20Fluid
or this, its service pro lsd gear oil 80w90 since its at work and it will be either free or very cheap
