How are we dumb****s? We didn't see the movie, we don't know how it ends, yet we're dumb****s for not knowing.

i saw the movie last night at Regal in Oaks. we got there right at 10pm for the 10:05 and walked right in to find an empty theater. it eventually filled in but i was surprised there weren't more people there.

i walked in there expecting it to be a comedy with all of the required F&F stupidity. it surprised the hell out of me. honestly i think it's the best one yet. except for the opening truck hi-jack sequence, the rest of the movie was somewhat grounded in reality. there were a lot of stupid parts of course, but it was more of a real movie than any of the previous ones.

i was pretty disappointed that there weren't more shenanigans going on outside in the parking lot. i was hoping for some ricers to 'spot'. i had my camera ready. haha.

I saw it last night at neshaminy at 7 45. It was the best movie ever. I'm trying to go see it again. But no ride.

HAHAHA i noticed that also! i was like what no ds! it was a good movie i am sure they will make at least two more. they know all the tuners are going to go see it. one thing i like about this one, just as many muscle cars as import cars!

Menacing_Gc8 04-04-2009 11:09 PM

I thought it was pretty decent. Definitely better than the others they did..

jspek 04-04-2009 11:20 PM

i liked 3 better, but this is up there. i liked how they connected some things with "past movies".

Just got back from seeing it... I think this one had the best selection of cars.

Anyone else notice the Lambo LM002 SUV towards the end of the movie?

Great movie, but not enough imports and they should have raced that Techart Porsche Cayman S instead of driving it slow or leaving it parked in the movie.

sleeperSL2 04-05-2009 09:45 AM

it was a good movie, better than the previous ones. more than likely its the last one since Diesel showed up at the end of tokyo drift..and the how the 4th one ended. you piece it together, you know what happens. just my thoughts.

i saw the driveshaftless STi also. kinda lame. the part that i actually thought was really cool is the "98 240" that was actually an S15. at first i thought it was really gay that they messed it up, but then i realized that it's entirely possible that they could have done it on purpose. think about how some people import and register R32's and R33's... they buy a POS wrecked S13 or S14 just for the VIN # and register and insure it as a 240SX. a 99+ S15 would most likely be registered as a '98 240SX.

it could have been a little detail they threw in for a bit of realism, but knowing them - it was probably just a screw up like everything else. haha

DPancoast 04-06-2009 12:55 AM

I saw this tonight with my gf. I thought it was great. The ending made me wonder.

That's all I'll say for now. Some parts of the movie made me sad face haha.

Omar_MSP 04-06-2009 01:34 AM

the movie was fantastic, great story, it was a drama/comical/action movie, who would want anything more than that? bottom line, its worth watching, yea the sequals made it suck besides tokyo drift, but its like after tokyo drift (which was great, for you haters) its like they making it better.

first it was rice, nos and blah blah, than it was course related, than it changed to be a culture and theme and true car enthusiast meaning, than it became a legit story that blended it allllll together. step at a time i see it, one step at a time.
