but hey best of luck

that's terrible but funny at the same time lol

Good point but I'm not planning on shifting to 5th. Although I am not making much power near redline, I'll still be better off holding on to 4th. I am having the rev limiter raised to allow about 115 in 4th which should be perfect. Hopefully one day I'll be making plenty of power and shift to 5th with plenty of room left:)..As much as the gearing is starting to become a hinderance while my car is getting faster in the 1/4, I wouldn't trade it for anything because it is a much better transmission and gearing at highway speeds is awesome.

The reason why his car is going 12.2 @ only 109 is because of the following: 1) He is getting a decent 60ft (high 1.6), 2) he is driving it like he stole it, and 3) the gears his car has are ideal for where his car is now, i.e., he is right near redline as he crosses the line in 4th gear. If he had a few more mods without an increased rev limiter, he'd likely run the same ET but at a higher trap speed, like 111-113. This is because he'd have to shift to 5th gear before hitting the finish line.

I think it also helps that Atco is one of the fastest tracks in the country although from what I've heard lately, it sounds like Cecil County may be even faster...? Hehe.
