damn missed the free shipping. I did just get free shipping on the holster I just ordered! Went with Foxx Holsters Little Foxx. Its an IWB tuck holster. Everything I've read has been really good and they are very reasonably priced for a hybrid.

Been kinda wanting a new handgun lately. Either another small carry gun (need to research whether 380 sucks or not) or I'd love a CZ75B Commemorative red star edition.

vDevilu 02-19-2014 11:20 AM

MY wife is thinking of selling her sig p238 nitron. if you're interested. updated recoil spring. Hogue grip. have a n82 iwb holster. I have to ask about pricing, though.

A lot of people love 380s. I may get the smith and wesson 380 bodyguard at some point as a carry. Although a subcompact 45 would be tough to pass over.

I hear the tiny 1911s don't really work all that well. Something to do with the timing of everything with the short barrell. Subcompact 45 glocks are pigs and the slim frame doesnt carry enough ammo for my taste.

i had two P238's and both were total garbage, i basically gave them away. I hope they've fixed the issues since. I plan on picking up a G36 pretty soon as a more "deep concealment" gun. The G42 looks pretty good too if you want to go 380. I am personally trying to consolidate ammo to .22, .45, 223, and 308 and MAYBE something random like 300BLK or 338.

Well there is a bill pending in committee about to go to the house that will finally allow suppressors in Vermont. Here is a link to the thread. I know you guys aren't in VT, but if you could call to put pressure on Rep. Smith, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!

The only ammo my wifes 238 doesnt like is AE. Though she hasnt ahot steel cased out of it. They upgraded the recoil spring. New spring much better. She has had no issues except American Eagle ammo, she gets ftes with it

CANNIBALOFDOOM 02-22-2014 07:32 PM

so went feeling around handguns tonight. Was surprised how nice the beretta 90 series felt. Not sure how it would feel shooting but compared a lot of full size in 40/45 and it fit my hand very nicely. Anyone have any feelings towards them? Not looking to carry

~Brian~ 02-23-2014 07:57 PM

I shot a glock 19 today for the first time and i must say, i didn't hate it

I've been carrying one since 2011, i'm on my second one actually.

Not sure if anyone else heard about this but it looks like colt is buying lwrc for 60 million.

Need some opinions. I'm looking to get handgun for a daily carry and would like to be steered in the right direction. The two guns are kind of apples/oranges, and I do know the obvious choice, but figured I'd ask anyways.

The two guns I'm looking at are the Glock 19, and the HK45. I know is 9mm vs. 45acp and that the glock will have a bigger magazine, smaller, and about half the price of the HK.... BUT...I really like the look and reviews of the HK and more stopping power never hurts.

So..let me have it lol.

Have you held/shot either of them yet? I wouldn't make any decision until that point. You can read all the reviews you want (which obviously should be taken into account) but if you don't like the feel of it you won't want to carry it anyway. So I recommend going to check both of them out, rent them and put a few magazines through each to see which you like better. I've shot a glock 19 and liked it. No experience with the HK though.

How much for just the ghost rings? Might be picking up a mossberg soon. Probably going to get the maverick not the 500 so the forend won't fit. And going to get the 18.5" barrel.

Shot the glock , enjoyed it. Haven't had a chance with the HK yet.
