i got mine done with in a few weeks of making the initial call (2 or 3 weeks from what i remember, maybe even less). i used josh prince from prince law. http://www.princelaw.com/bio/JoshuaPrince.asp it was quick and easy, and he explains it very well! We did almost everything from phone and email, other than the official and final trust was mailed to me and had to be notorized.

New glock 30sf. Trijicon night sights, talon grips, +1 extensions, and extended slide stop.

I'm assuming he meant the wait for the actual items going in the trust

cmr076 07-03-2013 08:11 PM

Brian, have you shot that 30sf yet? I had one and found it way too snappy for my liking.

Nope, not yet.

Will you be around this week so I can try it out?

I like the 30, love it actually. Probably going to pick one up to go with my 21.

Drftpretty 07-08-2013 10:02 AM

Brian you picked up a 30sf too? Just got one myself last week. Love it so far!

yeah... that would make more sense, but if you have a trust the process is simplified. i just got a form 1 and a form 4 approved back last month for my trust, they were both approved 2 days apart and approved within 6 months. 9 months sounds crazy and definitely isn't the current wait time for a trust.

99corvette 07-10-2013 11:38 AM

My current wait times for a LLC are taking 6-7 months from dealer to LLC.

yes you are correct. current wait times are now 9-11 months. its taking about a month and a half from receipt to pending now. doesnt seem to matter if it's a trust or not anymore.

I will see that can next year. I send it in Feb6, I'm hoping by jan '13. Trust on that and the SBR.\

in other news...this Sig 1911 is the most perfect weapon ever made. I've had it for a few months and I can do everything better with this thing than my Glock that I've had since '09. DAMN it feels so nice to have another one again :)

Drftpretty 07-11-2013 09:28 AM

Sig just does it right with every metal framed gun they produce.

that sounds more like it, mine took a week or 2 to come in the mail after approval, so in reality it was closer to 6 1/2 months to have the stamp in hand.
