I know its crazy, the one he picked up at auction was mint, 89 date code. Sold it because he didn't want to fire it since it was unfired for so long. Now he bought this one and is feeling the same way. Now its for sale as well.

^Made the same mistake on a p228 kb date code. Promptly sold it and bought a surplus p228 for $300 otd. Put 3,000 rounds through it since and made $600 on the nib piece.

Well picked up a new hunting rifle off of gunbroker lastnight, should be here by the end of the week or early next week. I'll post pictures when it comes in.

Haha no not yet. I was looking for a new rifle to hunt with here in Pa with my suppressor. Was thinking about building one off of a remington 700 action. Then I found out that Remington built some 700 aac sd edition in 308 with a 16.5 inch barrel. Should be a nice set up. Now I need to figure out what optics I'm going with and find a 7.62 aac breakout flash suppressor thats instock and not way over priced.

A friend of mine has the 700 AAC-SD in .308, it's a 20" barrel. As far as I know the only 16.5" barrel that comes factory on a 700 is the regular SPS Tactical and it's not threaded.

I didn't even know these existed til the end of last week. From what I have heard Remington built a lot for a dealer. Theres little info on the net about these but people that have been looking for them are having a hard time finding them. Idk if Remington is making these now for the public or what. I'm just happy that I got one.

Graduating this weekend, so I decided to get myself a little gift.. just ordered a Geissele SD-C trigger for the AR!

Thinking about buying a new handgun, but I'm not sure what to get.

I've always wanted a HK P30 V3, but I also really like the Berretta 92FS.

Thoughts?

agreed, ive had a few 92's and love them, one of the best shooting 9mm period IMO.. on the other hand nothing compares to an HK... my favorite gun of all time is a USP-45 tactical.

Back in 2004 I turned 21 and I bought my first pistol. a SA GI re-issue Mil-Spec 1911A1 for $420. Years later I picked up my Glock23 and used it for CCW. I sold the 1911 to my buddy after it ended up sitting in the safe....but I missed my all metal 'MERICA pistol. I told myself I would return to the 1911, and next time I wanted a lefty-friendly loaded one.....and I finally am back in the game. I cannot describe how good a single stack beast feels in my hands once again. I'm home. I'm also selling my Eotech, Uberti .45lc and a scope to offset this thang.....LOL

Hmm... sounds good.

Now the question is do I get a brand new one or a lightly used one.
