I thought about that, but Dave is pretty smart and I was afraid that he would catch on and delete his message before I could quote it with my reply. lol

ruger SR22... never had an issue feeding it any kind of ammo. some 22s are really picky about it.

HaveBlue83 04-02-2013 09:35 PM

I'm selling my second self-built and main AR-15 tomorrow for $1,200 if all goes well......that leaves me with my 10.5" pistol. should have a stock on it around Sept anyways. Either way cash is going to other things.

Sr22 was high up on the list but it was a little small in my hand ( 6'4" and I have bigger hands), I gravitated towards the sig 1911 because it was the same size as the .45 but it's cheaper to shoot because it's a .22

I'm not necessarily stuck on a .22 because I do need something larger to feel more comfortable in my hand. Some .22's feel like need guns they are so small

vDevilu 04-03-2013 10:49 AM

How about a sig p232?.... It's a 380. It's on the big side for 380s.

vDevilu 04-03-2013 09:48 PM

PS.....SGAmmo FTW

Non 45 variants of the 1911 platform have always sucked in my opinion. 232 is a sweet looking gun but it has a euro mag release which is awkward. I'd look at a p220. You can get an older west German one (more desireable) for under 500 bucks and it will outshoot almost any other semi pistol on the market... Put it this way, it's the gun sig sauer built their reputation on... I LOVE mine and I've owned every cool gun on the planet!

300zx_tt 04-04-2013 06:55 PM

I can only find p220's for 6-700. I do like the p220 but for an extra 100 id rather have a 1911. I'm in love with it for some reason hahaha I can't put my finger on it but I just keep going back to it, I may just have to "pull the trigger" (pun intended) on a .45 1911. Now all I have to do is pick my color combo

I'm back on tst after a break long education process. Ill search my photobucket for some pics of my toys. They arent photo shoot pics, mostly taken when I empty my pockets when i get home or taken on my property walking around.

Let me whore this thread up a little :)

Damn, I think I accumulated more toys at college than when I was home. That's about half the arsenal. Hint* I have a soft spot for 12 gauge trench guns and long rand bolt actions.

HaveBlue83 04-05-2013 06:01 PM

I picked up a new Savage Mk2 FV-SR .22lr last night. Tacticool fun! I already ordered the Boyds tacticool stock setup for it and I have a FACOG, Eotech or Bushnell elite 3200 10x for optics. This thing is gonna turn into my #1 range gun as long as I can get ammo for the damn thing.

It shot great with my can on it too :D

Tanners always has em, or I'd consider selling mine... Maybe

HaveBlue83 04-06-2013 07:28 PM

Already decked out and painted. I just kinda went nuts on this one. I always wanted a tacticool bolt gun for fun. Range time tomorrow. I hope the paint cures enough by then!

I've never heard of arms list I was just on gunbroker all the time, I'm gonna have to look around on that site now, what other websites do you guys use to buy online? My dad got his xdm-40 off of buds I think

Turbo_CitrusEs 04-08-2013 02:22 PM

So yeah I know this is a thread about guns but is anyone familiar with Pa laws on assisted opening knives? I'd like to pick up a ckrt knife but it is assisted opening. Also note I want to carry this on a daily basis.

Have to be law enforcement from what the army navy shop told me... I can legally carry a gun but not a knife with a button... Makes sense.
