I know what you mean. Except for going about $40 over retail on my barrel, I bought everything for retail price or below. Except for the magazines, but there wasn't anything I could do about that.

Plus the fact that 2000 would have gotten you an lwrc or something of that caliber for the same price 6 months ago!

Maybe I should add it all up again to make sure I didn't mess up the calculation haha

InfiniteMotors 03-05-2013 11:09 PM

Speaking of overpriced mags, Brian did your mag get there today?

:-p

~Brian~ 03-05-2013 11:59 PM

Haha, didn't see it yet. Will probably show up tomorrow

Prices on items are starting to slowly come back down to normal, other then ammo and magazines. But if you do keep a eye out you can get pmags for regular cost. Its only a matter of time before those items start to drop as well. I haven't bought anything during these crazy times other then some magazines at cost and a few other items at a local auction that I made out very well.

My dog Chaos and my fathers Colt 6933 m4. Its marked L.E. and m4 which they no longer mark like that, kinda cool. Fitted with a knights armament quad rail and Acog. This is a older picture when he first got it. It now has a AAC brakeout flash suppressor and ergo grip.

Not yet. I spoke to somebody at LaRue and they said the shipment of PMAGS should be arriving soon. Also, I got somebody to give me a decent price on gen 3 window'd pmags on ar15.com.

Just remember, two is one and one is none.

Do they really break that easily?

SHOdude 03-07-2013 01:10 AM

New gun store in Trappe PA had some mags and really decently priced used guns.

Can never have enough mags. They do wear out.

In general though, what is the life expectancy of a pmag?

I honestly can't answer this question. I will say I have never had any issues with pmags what so ever.

~Brian~ 03-07-2013 12:23 PM

Ah, okay. I figured they would last for a while. I won't be doing anything extreme, so I doubt anything will happen to them. I'm still hoping that LaRue order comes in soon though. I want to have more than 3 mags in case one or two break
