Play on veteran level. That's where the ACTUAL game is supposed to be played at. (plus that's where most of the gamerscore point come from, assuming you have 360)

I'll start that tonight. I beat the game in three sittings. COD4 was like IDK 8 sittings. It went into the long movie and then credits. I kinda figured when I planted the flag it was over, but I was thinking that was just too short.
