Hopefully you have better luck with that sig than I had with my 238 and other new sig models, all total junk, have you looked at the Khar pocket gun? And munky, where'd you order from, I have a good stock by more beer hurts!

schaffer 01-17-2013 12:36 AM

My friend carries a P238 time to time. Decent shooter, although I can only shoot it with one hand, two is just overbearing for the size of it.

Yeah it's not bad but I've seen better. Just nothing locally so it's my best option right now.

I was seeing 200 per 1000 on 9mm before the frenzy hit. I think I'm going to start reloading. I can do it for around 100 per 1000.

Yeah reloading is definitely the way to go if you have the start up $$$ to get rolling & the time to do it. Problem I've been hearing from friends that reload is even those supplies have taken a huge hit in price as well as supply. This **** is getting ridiculous.

If I were to sell the pmags that are coming in in a few weeks, how much do you think I could ask for 5? Gen 3 30 rounders with the window

idk... i have 5 on back order, but they cost me 18.95 plus shipping & handling (so my cost is around is around $23-$24 each) . i would like to keep 2-4 for myself to replace brand new non window Thermold & Pmag. the Thermold's cost me $16 or so plus tax. i know my costs were high, but i bought after the craze began, not before.

id prob sell them on PAFOA or gunbroker new window Pmags $40 each, the non window mags for $30 each. or i might just keep them since i only have 4 right now (3 Thermold, 1 Pmag, all 4 brand new), plus the 5 window pmags on back order (if i ever even get them). i think these prices are expensive, but id rather keep them then sell them, but if someones willing to pay a premium for a few of them i might sell them. on gunnbroker they were going for $50-$60 each!!!

Didn't any of you think this is eventually gonna die down rather than spending a small fortune cause you think you won't be able to get this ****

~Brian~ 01-19-2013 11:35 AM

That's about what I was thinking too. I've got about 20 on order, so I'll keep 10 then sell the rest on gun broker. Thankfully I put my order in right away, so I got then at normal price before websites started scalping.

it may or may not die down, even if it does a lot of ammo, firearms, and accessories for those in question of a ban are back ordered for over a year. generally once prices break certain price points and they know they can get away changing that, they normally wont drop back down to the old pricing. im sure the crazy over inflated prices will drop a little (if this all blows over, people dont have any fear of gun control, and everything back in stock and readily available).

just look at gas prices, once they get super inflated because of BS, once it all dies down they do drop a little, but they never seem to go back to what they were or lower.... im worried that a lot of this stuff might not go back to the low prices we had before either...

Munky 01-19-2013 11:54 AM

For stealing my copyrighted material I'm going to have to charge you $100...or we could settle out of court right now for $10 a piece pmags.

Munky 01-19-2013 12:05 PM

    @ a bunch of guys getting uber pissed at me for not telling them where I ordered my ammo from on this Tahoe site I frequent.
