After spending a few painful minutes on a different forum just now i'd just like to say that now more than ever I really appreciate what TST has become. All in all a great community. Its not perfect, but its doing a whole hell of a lot better than some other forums out there... damn.

Well, i hung up the phone after talking to my mechanic for my inspection tomorrow at 8am. As soon as i hung it up, my CEL came on. I had my scanner on me so i checked it, make a call, and found it was my IAC valve. Well, that cost 297 dollars. im ****ed :\

Yep. I actually just got back from the auto show. I wiped down both cars, looked like someone splashed a drink or something on the drivers side. All taken care of though.

This is exactly why I dumped my probe in 1 month ownership. I had a similar thing go, forget exactly what it is, but it's literally a $5 part on a chevy 3100sfi v6 that cost $250+ because it was mazda. I started digging to see what other parts cost and it was outrageous. Definitely gouging their loyal customers.
