My dad always bitched about me coming in late with my mustang because it was apparently so loud. Oh well, help me get out of the house then you won't have to put up with it anymore haha.

1. E46. I think the body looks better than the E36. Performance wise it is hard to compare due to BMW moving up in technology with new generations. Thus the E46 will out perform the E36.

2. It really depends on your price range. Both E36 and E46 are well built cars. Them being an ///M means maintenance will be higher than a regular 3-series either way you put it.

Which model years are the E46 and E36? I am not familar with the car to know those numbers.

Good point. If you want to get out bad enough, you should just let it idle in the driveway after 11pm and say you were working on the car.

E36 is 91-99' BUT E46's began production in 98' so you can find E46's from 98'-05'.

I would jus tint the windows. Unless you plan on owning the car for a long time i would not do to many changes to the car.

I have the lease for 3 years. I'm probably going to refinance it after the lease and buy it from there. I really like this car. I still can't think of anything that I don't like about it.

I'm definitely getting serious about tinting it though... Aside from that, $800 of my tax return is going to fix the dent in my back quarter panel and the retarded scratch in the front wheel well. From there, I'll figure out
my next plans. I'm wicked happy with my return this year =]

you being able to do the work plays much differently in my mind about doing modifications. if you are doing the labor, i would then say go for it.

having the ability, know-how, and tools to do it yourself makes it much easier.
