but at the same time, i know she's struggling, and i know she's not sitting on her ass and doing nothing. last time i visited her, she had on her desk top resumes to over 20 differnt places she was sending them too.

going to talk to my dad first. i'm sure he can try to talk some sense into her.

doing something nice for your sister from your heart is entirely different than being forced to. however, it sucks that now any money you'd give would be construed as part of that requirement... i hate that feeling. i don't like being asked to do nice things. i do nice things because i want to... if i'm asked to do something, especially if it sounds like a demand, i will not do it... even to the point of not doing so harms myself in some way.

lol... they can rent a whole floor for cheap probably.

My girlfriend was saying that her friends parents were saying that they were paying for some of the rooms and what not. Well then someone else my girlfriend knew that was going was saying it was like 120/night for the hotel and like 180/person roudtrip. Yeah that's not money I want to be spending really.

gotcha... oh well. im sure you'll figure it out.

Big_Jim 02-01-2010 05:31 PM

180/person round trip isnt bad at all.

sleeper15 02-01-2010 05:34 PM

well, i'm not off to class. http://www.superhonda.com/forum/imag...lies/ninja.gif

Scapegoat 02-01-2010 05:34 PM

120/night isn't that bad either split between two people.

of course, if you're going for a week and you're being hit with this w/o having planned for it... its not a good thing.

HickRocket1258 02-01-2010 05:38 PM

Well she was talking about Seaworld and Orlando too. I don't know that's just a ****load of money to put down. Not used to going on trips like this without family.

Rob is a sheltered man. I spent a month in the south pacific, by myself. It was awesome.

Working on the Supra pics now...

HickRocket1258 02-01-2010 05:45 PM

I did have a sheltered life Nick for real, but I have the money, but again I just don't want to waste it all at once like that.

Oakes 02-01-2010 05:45 PM

I hear ya, trust me. Just keep workin that ass off and save up son!

Scapegoat 02-01-2010 05:52 PM

if she wants to go she can pay. :)

ASIAN JUL 02-01-2010 06:14 PM

I'd laugh in my mom's face if she told me to throw up $15k for a wedding that isn't mine. Tell your mom to get a cheaper ****ing wedding and shut the **** up. You don't have a fancy tens of thousands of dollars in costs wedding if you can't afford it. End of story.

ASIAN JUL 02-01-2010 06:19 PM

I guess I was late on posting that but anyway, off to sleep. Definitely getting sick. Yayyyy

TROLL 02-01-2010 06:19 PM

Yeah I vote for a simple wedding... it doesnt HAVE to be anything fancy, the people who are there are whats really important.

Oakes 02-01-2010 06:41 PM

Btw, I fully intend on you being my photographer when(if) I get married. I hear you're cheap. :)
