i remember the worst time i had polishing was a truck in like 15 degree weather outside because it wouldnt fit in the garage.

Showoff03LS 01-26-2010 10:40 AM

ozthunder 01-26-2010 10:43 AM

lol I didn't look at the $, I thought it'd be ~$250. Achatz has learned under one of the best (Thomas Heller), and his cookbook (same name as restaurant) is ridic awesome.

Oakes 01-26-2010 10:46 AM

Yeah, detailing in any weather under 40 degress blows. For both you and the products.

Angelo, you can ride out here and check out the progress on the cars

I'll check the stars. I know NYC is the only city in America where they award Michelin stars, and that's THE guide in knowing where the **** to go.

angdefeo 01-26-2010 10:53 AM

Nick, did you have the space heater running while you were working yesterday? Maybe a bigger heater would be just as effective in drying out the air. I think i will stop by for a while. I just need to do a few errands around the house then head over.

Big_Jim 01-26-2010 10:54 AM

im down for dinner tonight, gotta be in work by 10 though.

are there any chef's in the USA that worked with or were trained by Ferran Adria?

Oakes 01-26-2010 10:57 AM

Between the 4 spotlights and other lights, the garage heats itself well, I do have that other heater but heat wasn't the issue. I just checked the dehumidifier, it has about 2 gallons of water in it already....so that was definitely my issue. I'm gonna see how things are in a few minutes. Just getting situated and building motivation/waiting for my adderall to kick in lol. (Dont worry, I'm prescribed lol)

russiankid 01-26-2010 10:58 AM

Today is one of those days where I don't want to do ****.

You has laptop/drive? Wanna meet in KOP

HickRocket1258 01-26-2010 10:59 AM

Nick make sure that the dehumidifier will cover the whole garage. At times it will only cover a certain amount of space. It will defininately help come the hot humid days.

Oakes 01-26-2010 11:01 AM

It's for a space larger than the garage, think it will be effective. It acts as an airconditioner/heater too which is word, I only have this garage until the end of March.
