Oh wow, I had no clue about how it fired. I was only looking at it and hadn't yet gotten to fire one.. That makes a world of difference then. Thanks

We ( me and TehGc) have a Taurus Millennium Pro PT40 with the 11rd Mag ,12 if you Add one to the Chamber and Hollow Point Bullets to compliment that. I am Looking into getting a new one too.. The Smith and Wesson Sigma S&W .40 Since its light and well balanced. I heard the Glocks do jam which is why some law enforcement agencies are switching.. Not sure if that holds true.

lol, yep, go for the sigma (especially the older models), they will serve you better than a glock.

Some of the information people state on guns is just hilarious! Where did you hear that LEO's are switching glocks because of jamming issues???

Here is the blip, the ONLY info that I have ever seen about LEO, glocks, and jamming...

Defects in NYPD handguns

Half subject to jamming

By BOB KAPPSTATTER and ALICE McQUILLAN
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITERS

Tuesday, August 20th, 2002

More than half of the Police Department's handguns are subject to jam without warning, a potentially dangerous flaw that can leave the weapons as "useless as paperweights," police sources said. Although the jamming is rare, the NYPD has been concerned enough to order a recall of 24,000 semiautomatic Glock handguns so they can be refitted.

This problem affects the Glock Model 19S - the gun carried by about 60% of the department's 39,000 officers. The flaw, in which the shell casing fails to eject, has only arisen during practice and tests at the NYPD firing range, police officials say.

"Our studies have shown this to be a rare occurrence," said police spokesman Chief Michael Collins. "In the worst-case scenario...we estimated that this has happened only once in 450,000 times when fired."

I saw it on some website a while back.. I just remember it saying that plus a part of what you posted, It mentioned nothing of the Jamming oddities... But I had said I didn't know if it held true..Thanks for clarifying that.

yeah that does suck that shells went up. at least my .223 hasn't gone up since the last time I bought 500 rounds. $115 for 500 sucks but it could be worse.

A full auto mac is about $5,000-6,000. I plan on buying some other full auto's. They increase in value so much that it's a pretty safe investment providing they are made illegal.

alwaysinboost 08-01-2008 11:56 AM

you taking your car to the track before you sell it at least?

Hopefully....I'm not planning on selling it till the winter. I know I'll get less but I don't care. I wan't to drive it as long as I can. I'm selling my tow vehicle too and just getting down to one car I can DD.

alwaysinboost 08-01-2008 12:24 PM

running it in the winter would be best anyways. heat+FI=bad et's

ITSTOCK 08-01-2008 03:19 PM

True.....I'll most likely have it out.

den9 08-01-2008 06:49 PM

dickdieter, did u put that savage away wet? barrel is looking a little rusty.

philly svt, what did u have to go through to get that supressor, and how much did it cost, also is that a real ump45? how much did that run you? i seen one used for 20 grand

i was never into 40 calibers, but i think thats what im going to buy for a usp compact, .45 bullets cost too much, and everyone i know has a 9mm, id like to get something different. if i get a subcompact im sure it will be a 9mm though
