THANK YOU!!! I thought the same thing. It did have its moments but in all it was terrible. Again, I felt that way about the Kill Bill movies he made too.

Yeah I didn't like inglourious much either. It just didn't keep my attention (then again I do have a major ADD problem).

Seriously.
I don't know what is going on either. All I know is that I will be going, but staying out of all the political bs.

Well I mean I was at Champs and I heard the discussions and I was like oh ok I guess Jon plans these things. Then I get an email from new sweden saying that they are collaborating with TST to bring the meet. And really I'm sitting there wondering who is bringing the meet? Because the meet is really just a date decision, a phone call, and a thread post. The charities and whatnot are fairly irrelevant. So bottom line is that the bickering is over nothing... except......
Really it's kind of twisted because this is what happens when everyone organizes their thoughts and ideas around "tst" but really "tst" is owned by Bryan and that's it. I don't have a problem with Bryan making money on it because he deals with all the crap that comes with running the site (maintenance, hacks, server space, vb license, etc), but all of the content and the meets belong to the community. That's why I've never liked any of the meets calling themselves "tst" meets... That is unless tst becomes managed and owned by many people and all decisions are made democratically. I'm used to working on and around open source software and everyone acts like TST follows that model but it just doesn't. TST isn't ours. We're just here for the ride.
