Exactly. We got our little mustang clan here Nick and are here to stay. Wow that sounded so retarded haha.

Oakes 01-22-2010 11:38 AM

I know what they're capable of, I know they're not slow as balls after a few mods, I've driven literally HUNDREDS of them, Bullitts, Cobras, and GT500s. It's just not a car for me. I could have gotten an 08/09 GT, 5 spd with the factory 5 spoke 18s, lip spoiler and sync for the same exact price as my Fusion. As you can see what my decision was, I got the Fusion for the reasons the GT wouldn't have been able to satisfy.

HickRocket1258 01-22-2010 11:45 AM

Oh goodness, now Nick has to go into his whole explanation of it all.

i could have gotten an 09 gt for a lot cheaper than my 10... but the interior and exterior are ugly... well, maybe not ugly... but lacking.

i looked at a terminator too. but i had a 99 and i couldn't get over the cheap interior in that either. the car was also a bit banged up. I'd love a terminator with the 2010 interior. that would be slick stuff.

i like buying new though... call me spoiled...

very very bored at work... can't wait till 4 when they drop off the beer. then hopefully this chick gets back in touch about our date this weekend. if not, off to keswick area to meet up with a friend from highschool

I can't wait for the day I buy a brand new car. I can't even imagine what it's like. ****, I was super super excited to get my current one with 63k miles on it, and it's 7 years old. Newest/nicest car I've owned yet.

Scapegoat 01-22-2010 11:53 AM

i should have bought used... but i don't care lol

i bought the srt-4 new, and the mustang new.

in hindsight i should probably have settled on something used so that i had more play money for it. but i'm loving my car big time.

HickRocket1258 01-22-2010 11:55 AM

I could never buy new. Not that I wouldn't want to, but I just have myself trouble seeing myself buy new. I want a Diesel pickup to tow so bad for when I start racing again.

Big_Jim 01-22-2010 11:57 AM

my past 2 cars i bought new.

gotta figure out what we're doing for lunch today. im hungry as hell.

i could buy used if it was something for utility... just getting around of towing or something like that.

but a sports car... not unless its something old or ridiculously overpriced new that i could buy it used. course... when the next gt500 comes out the current 2010's are going to drop in price... and used they typically have under 10k on them. that is a possibility in the future

ASIAN JUL 01-22-2010 12:02 PM

my countdown to 21 is in the single digits now! yayyyyy

I can't wait till Cobras drop in price enough for me to afford one. Though once that happens, EVO's will probably be way down in price also, which is a tough decision right there lol.

CHAOS 01-22-2010 12:05 PM

Dan, those are ccw classics.

Yeah I could definately understand buying utility especially with diesels. They are still like new motors when they are up near 100k miles. I love my buddies diesels Excursion. Sucks it has no top end but they were built to haul.

Oakes 01-22-2010 12:08 PM

I can't justify buying used unless I've seen all documentation and have gone over the car with a microscope. You know how picky I am with my detailing, how do you think I am with buying a car? Hence why I ordered my car, so I know it hasn't been sitting on a lot anywhere, and it came straight to me with 6 miles on it. 4 from delivery and 2 for inspection. It's now mine almost 18months later with 35,200 something miles on it.
