Dan, aren't those wheels super expensive?

TJs98GT 01-22-2010 10:59 AM

ah yeah. see id rather deal with pain from a tattoo....not a piercing/stretch lol. do you stretch yours right after the shower like everyone suggests? i have in the past but didnt when i did these the other night and wondered if thats why it hurt more.

240sxDann 01-22-2010 10:59 AM

Yes, very. A full set will run you a few grand.

TJ, when I do them I do always try to do it after a shower. Your skin is much more...pliable then. They say you shouldn't use anything, but I put neosporin, just a very tiny little bit on the taper to make it slide easier.

Speaking of tattoos, I need to get some more lol.

Dan here's something you might be interested in. A raffle to help my old neighbor who has (Jon correct me on the spelling if I'm wrong again haha) Lou Garaghs disease.

very... i don't think i'd take the car outside ever again if i had CCW's on my car... just the thought of a rock hitting them would make me cry

DPancoast 01-22-2010 11:07 AM

i wouldnt even care about decorating the tank. The jellyfish would be cool enough for me

Yeah, I wouldn't ever think about purchasing those wheels just for that reason. I'd be too scared.

240sxDann 01-22-2010 11:10 AM

Yea same here. They would only go on to go to shows if I had a car worth showing lol. I see guys that run them at the track with slicks and DR's on them. They're farkin nutso

I agree with that as well. Totally nuts when you see people running them at the track. What's the estimated weight of one of those wheels?

like mini pb&j sandwiches with no crusts, kinda in a pocket of bread, i never tried em

240sxDann 01-22-2010 11:26 AM

They're slammin, try them. And I don't really have a place I go to for tats. I went to a place called M&M's for my first one (overpriced and it's ALL scar tissue) and my second one I got done by a guy named John Black at Hot Shots.
