i think i expect "too much" when it comes to having a girlfriend... like being smart, and not a stupid raging **** and pretty. its tough to find all of that in one girl.

you can't expect too much regarding the person you're potentially going to be spending a lot of time together.

i'm out at the first sign of a girl's lack of dependability, which fortunately shows up early in dating.

i've realized that i won't be able to settle down with a chick unless she's early 30's or a mature late 20's. i don't have time for the nonsense that comes along with early/mid 20's.

doesn't mean i'm keeping it in my pants around that age group... just means they're not dateable

Like Ken said, you have to make sure it's going to be someone you want to spend time with, so make sure you get it right.

I've been single for about 2 years as well. Though I am talking to a new chick who seems really cool and down to earth, but I guess we'll see. Not letting my guards down too easily for anyone at this point.
