ken, is there a real need for an auto siphon? some of the more expensive kits have those?

Scapegoat 01-20-2010 02:33 PM

not at all

grimm 01-20-2010 02:34 PM

* True Brew Handbook
* 6.5 Gallon Primary Fermenting Bucket
* 1 Lid Drilled & Grommet
* 6.5 Gallon Bottling Bucket w/ Spigot
* Fermtech Springless Bottle Filler
* Fermometer Fermentation Thermometer
* Auto Siphon
* Hydrometer
* Emily Double Lever Capper
* Bottle Brush
* 3 Piece Airlock
* C-Brite Sanitizer 8-Pack
* True Brew Ingredient Kit
* Easy To Read Instructions
* 48 12 oz Amber bottles

i was looking at this kit, it's a bit larger.

Scapegoat 01-20-2010 02:37 PM

the ingredient kit is probably crap, do they mention anything about the contents?

looks like a good deal otherwise. the auto siphon is questionable... i'm wondering if its one of these:

It's like having sex with a hooker. At first your like "ALRIGHT this is awesome", seems like a great idea. Then afterwards you just go "Oh my god, WHY DID I DO THAT?!"

I think it's their fries that do it to me. I had some nuggets today, they were good.

p.s. I miss my 240. :(

I will never boost my stang. I like doing things the hard way. Do as much as I can with as little power as possible.

If I had the money, it would be boosted by now. I'm still trying to save enough to get my long tubes installed. I want boost so bad, just can't afford it.
