Nick I don't get that. If taking some medicine would make you feel better, why the eff not?!

Snoozie 01-19-2010 11:43 AM

I was in a little diner in Newtown yesterday with my friend and this crazy lady came and sat next to me at our table. She kept telling us we were fancy and asked how my baby was doing. Then, she HIT ME and told me I was fancy with my boyfriend.

Never a dull moment in my world.

Of course it's beautiful when I'm stuck in bed. ****

I usually try to avoid any type of medication for pain, but sometimes I get fed up with it and take the pill.

And yeah, I think it is open sunroof weather.

Hahah. Check your phone lady.

i don't like meds either.

we have an immune system for a reason and pumping drugs in weakens it.

i'll take it sinus infections and stuff like that though. that **** sucks and you need a little help getting those bugs killed

Mmmmm 8 boxes of girl scout cookies got delivered to my desk today. I love girl scout cookie time.

Classes start tomorrow. Good news is I only have 4 more semesters to go until I graduate. God I hate night classes.

I still have 6 plus the current semester. At least this semester is easier time wise than last semester. First class today is at 1, gives me time to sleep in and get work done.

240sxDann 01-19-2010 11:53 AM

I wish I could go to college full time and not have to worry about money. That would be awesome.

3rdGenMr2Girl 01-19-2010 11:54 AM

Mister 2 is happy. New tires, power fc, oil, and coolant :)

Oakes 01-19-2010 11:54 AM

I see what you did there Jon.

Dann, what Ken said, it weakens our immune systems and lowers our tolerances. I rarely take meds, and I dont get sick often, however when I do...it's usually bad. I know some people who take meds the second the feel tired/have an ache....they always seem sick.

I don't mean like that, but more so, if your in pain that bad that you can barely move, that seems like an acceptable time to take meds.

I go to college and still worry about money. I took out a loan for school and I still count all my pennies to make sure I am not short anywhere and make sure I don't spend the money I get returned to me after tuition and books are covered.

I wasn't directing that at you, I was just sayin. I really do wish I could go to college full time. But I can't afford it unless I work full time and go to school at night. Which, I'm not really tryin to do as of right now.

I can see your point, but I don't want to numb the pain before I get checked out. Like I said, I was in an excruiating amount of pain a long time ago and wasn't able to take meds because it would mask the results of the surgery that I needed to relay. It was massive torture, youre body will numb the pain itself....eventually, it's just if you can tolerate it until then. I did, it sucked more than I could ever want it to, but everything else is childs play to that lol.

Obviously I have a different approach to things like this.

240sxDann 01-19-2010 12:00 PM

Ah yea understandable. Definitely helps to be able to explain the pain in better detail.

Oh I know I am just saying. Why not take a loan out? I know I cannot afford to pay for school which is why I took out a loan. I know I will have to pay it off in the future, but it will be worth it in the end.

240sxDann 01-19-2010 12:04 PM

Cuz I have bills and **** lol. Plus I can't leave my job. I just wish I could have gone from highschool and done a 4 year college full time, like actually staying there. And not have to worry about a job.

I guess what I'm really tryin to say is I wish I was a spoiled rich kid LOL

My girlfriend has 4 more semesters after this semester of school. God I wish she was done with it. She does full time school and full time nurse working 3pm-11:30pm. Then wakes up early the next day for classes. This semester will be hell for her.
