welp...found out today i'm transfering dept.'s at A Duie pyle. They are training me to be a trailer jockey...basically moving tractor trailers around the yard....pulling them into doors. Comes with a 1/hr raise, and some certifications...puts me at 15/hr until i go to cdl school next january 09' to be a driver...then its another raise. i'm glad they chose to move me to this position...i'll get me a lot of good experience in trucks so when i become a driver i'll know WTF i'm doing

actually, working at duie pyle i wouldn't be surprised if you guys use some of the hardware we work on. ever inventory stuff? i'm sure you guys use either intermec/norand, janus, or symbol units for inventory

i have no idea what any of that is. We use some system called qualcomm to organize the freight in our system. i forget what program we use to look at it. Extra??? or something...i'm not good w/ computers
