MP3 is a far better technology. Selling CD's is like trying to sell cassettes. No one wants them because they are outdated. I wrote a 12 page research paper on this.

Technically, it is true as the audio on a CD is sampled at a much higher rate than even the highest MP3 bit rates. Not that it matters for todays music as the "in" thing these days is to just turn up the volume and distort everything anyway.

It will take a $$$$$$$$$ to even afford a system that is good enough to hear a differnce. With that said, yes technically it is better but it isn't useable to 99% of the population so it fails reguardless.

Hey Dpan. I still have cassette in my Monte Carlo. I like the quality.

and i dunno jon. im kinda new to them. played on a couple and had fun, but dont know if its worth the investment? i mean its my only real option until i get my own place, and even that is questionable but im thinkin about it... not anytime super soon, just a thought.
