yea i figure i'll try it out first thing, if it doesn't handle it well then i'll just do a quick reformat and then just load Photoshop. we'll see. I upgraded the RAM to 2GB already so it should be pretty good to go.

CS4 is gonna kill a netbook. Personally, for an extra $100 I'd rather buy the cheapest laptop on the market as it is must likely more powerful.

2G of ram isn't crap if you don't have a dedicated video card, Atleast your not runnign Visata though so you have a slight chance.

i just figure i'd give it a shot on the netbook, if it doesn't work out, no biggie. I got the netbook specifically for travel not to be a work horse. I have a macbook pro and a (at one time) a kick ass dell laptop as well as a decent tower. so i'm not hurting for a competent laptop.

Good LORD the lady at Walgreens near my work is so miserable!!! I came up, she didn't say a word.. I bought a birthday card and a Barq's rootbeer (I know, so much to ring up!!), she threw the card at the bottom of the bag and threw the soda on top of it. The envelope got folded in the process. I asked her for my receipt and she grunted as if I kicked her in the stomach, then threw the bag across the counter instead of just putting it down. I said "thanks," and she said "yeaaaaah." Srs? EVERYTIME I've dealt with her, she's been retardedly rude.

I know, though, your oh-so-difficult job of cashiering must take a lot out of you :roll:

It'd be one thing if it was ACME or something and I had 500 items after she turned her register light off to go on break, but let's be serious here.

It's not hard to at least fake being pleasant.

On a bright note, however, it's 2pm, tomorrow is my daddy's burrrfday (63!!) and I'm in a happy mood..despite grumpy crusty old ladies at Walgreens.

julz, i work at a walgreens. trust me, go to the manager. If shes consistantly rude, she will get reamed for it. Dont get in the managers face otherwise, they will just disregard you as soon as you turn around. Being kind and polite is a big deal at walgreens and when a customer complains, they make a big deal. Or you can ask for the email to the DM, his name is jim banks. hes a cool dude but really digs into employees about respect and ****.

Thanks Erik, I was already planning on complaining to the manager. I really don't know what her deal is. The first few times I thought maybe she was just having a bad day but now it's been at least a dozen times I've dealt with her. She needs to take a few happy pills :)

This is why they say DSM's are horrible dailys. i havent even driven it for 250 miles and ive had it for ovr a month now. I cant stand not having a daily. Even my integra was an awesome daily and i modded that thing with every cent i got.
