There's a flash hider on the end, in front of that is a short length of barrel but now that I think of it I guess the flash hider would have to come off first.
It's a Remington 700 in 308 The barrel http://cdn5.thefirearmsblog.com/blog...zlebreak-1.jpg Edit And now I'm wondering if the triangular barrel would pose a problem, although I don't think it would, plus it's supposed to dissipate heat a lot quicker than a standard barrel which should help keep the can happy |
I honestly have never seen one of those triangle barrels threaded, not saying it can't be done but I don't have a answer for that one. My bet is it can be done, but the only issue I can see is if the barrel is 16 inches and having those three ports idk how it can be done. Best bet is to contact this company and see what they say, a lot of guys on ar15.com use them for barrel threading for suppressors. http://www.adcofirearms.com/shopservices/

got it.. i have to do a little more research, i want a longer barrel than 16" ESPECIALLY if i have to remove some of it for a can

I myself wanna pick up a bolt action rifle in 308 once my suppressor comes in. You plan on buying one soon?

Yea no problem, I'm not sure how long its gonna take tho, my last transfer took 7 months. Looking on the boreds its taking guys 6 months in pa. I mainly bought my aac 7.62 sdn6 to run on my ar15 and then down the road buy a 308 gun. Heres a pretty good vid with a pof 308, The guy changes the gas setting and I beleave he is running sub sonic ammo too, not sure tho. its pretty quiet when he shuts the gas system off, just like what a bolt action rifle would sound like.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBz3X...feature=colike

I need to sell some rifles to pay for this god damn DSM habit....LOL.

Is it crazy that I am thinking about ordering a Les Baer? Someone talk me into it... I mean out of it...

Well I just bought a Colt 6920 AR so I think one of theirs would be a semi redundant purchase. I sold a 1911 a few months back and have really been missing it so I was going to go with a 1911.

For the same style I am looking at a wilson is about $1k more. For me something like a SW E Series at $1,300 is a good value and you get a solid production gun but for $700 more I can justify a Les Baer. I can't justify $1,700 more than a Smith.
|
That's understandable, wasn't sure what model you was looking at. They are all very nice 1911s. If its something you want I say do it.

The one I want is pretty much identical to this.

Nice, is it a high cap 1911? From the pic it looks like a double stack mag well.
|
8 Shot so no just a single stack.

Thought I would share this with you guys..
two ppl tried to rob an internet cafe and ended up getting shot by a customer who was carrying.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZNC2...ature=youtu.be My only concern with the way he did that is that the customer followed them around the store shooting at them while they were clearly trying to escape. This is especially true at the end of the video when they are already out the door then the guy fires off another round as they disappear from the camera... |
