Probably close, which = 830-9. I have to get all this paper work done before the new year, cause there is no way in hell that I'm coming back to it January 4th

Yeah, Holidays set me back a little bit, I'm going to be squeezing in as many details as I can in the next few weeks.

i thought i'd be more in the hole bill wise, but, i'm not.

Scapegoat 12-29-2009 12:29 PM

not really the holidays that hurt me. more like putting my cat down ($150) along running out of the money i had saved from my last paying website.

I need to get more work coming in. Right now we've got a catering site that should do well to promote us and then our own site so people can get in contact.

i'm seriously contemplating a second job just for some extra money to throw in the bank

angdefeo 12-29-2009 12:36 PM

has the economy hurt your income or is it a just earning a certain amount and most of that money being dedicated to paying old loans and current living expenses that cannot be reduced?

Corsica's are the meanest cars around. Don't knock em. I used to have a beretta with that chevy 60 deg v6. I had a glasspack on it (I was a kid, let it go). I loved that sound.

Edit: Ken you lost the cat? That sucks :( And I just got back from running. God damn it's cold out. My lungs are pissed at me.

company i work for is making millions more this year than it did last year. we're also hiring 20 new web developers. so the economy isn't hurting me at all.

its the latter. the two car payments, and living expenses are eating away at my money. however, i'm not hurting... i just want more money in the bank to save up for stuff. once the srt sells i'll be more than fine as $600 gets freed up each month. and then moving in with my mom in another few months (to help her financially) will free up another $400 or so on rent.

basically speaking... i want more money to spend/save.

i might give a temp agency a call or something to find some weekend work. if i could bring in an additional 500/month i'd be happy

You commute to school. Some of us worked during full time school both while commuting and while living on campus. Wild.

Yeah I commuted to Drexel my first year - what a bust. Newtown to Drexel sucked. Lived on campus @ Desales near Allentown the rest of my 3 years. I made good money building megasquirt units. Lot of time, thought, energy, and frustration, but I made $300 in 18 hrs of work, which really wasn't bad. I did, afterall, first turbo my BMW while in college (low budget setup) and managed to afford it all while going to school!

my commute ain't that bad. only from moscow to scranton. hell, my internship will be a longer drive then to my school.

i'm saving up a decent amount of money living with the parents, but, it sucks all to hell. i basiclly got no privacy.

Dude definitely save by living at home if you can - thats what I am doing. I'd be spending $1200 a month in rent, pissing it away. Not ready to pick up my first house yet and GF is pushing the big M word so thats on the horizon, but it definitely pays to not have a mortgage or rent. Plus, then you can spend like a nut :)
