its been coming. i'm looking forward to the changes for my mom. but i'm not looking forward to living with her and my siblings again after being on my own for 4 years. but its pretty much the only way she can afford to live on her own. and the extra money will be a big boon for me...

she's also adamant about finding a house to rent w/ a garage for the mustang

Snoozie 12-27-2009 01:21 PM

Good luck, Ken. Your mom sounds like a nice lady.

And Jamie, the next couple of weeks are going to be ridic...haha.

just found out about a supra meet happening today, think i'm gonna pull her out of the cave to stretch her legs a bit since it looks like a nice day out and the roads look dry finally.

And more importantly... salt free.

russiankid 12-27-2009 01:53 PM

Salt and snow does not stop me from driving my car.

thats because your car isn't special

Erik 12-27-2009 01:59 PM

ouch.

russiankid 12-27-2009 02:00 PM

It is special to me. It is also kind of special because mine is a premium package and having those with a 5-speed(even though mine is swapped) is rare.

its also not a high hp rwd, somewhat, rare sports car

i drive my car in crappy weather... but i can understand why Bryan doesn't take out the Supra in that type of crap. I can't understand why you boast about driving your bmw out in that type of weather though. its just a whole different ball game.

yeah, i never take my mugen out in the snow cause of the salt on the roads. thats what my durango is for.

and living with the parents sucks, i know. but, like you mentioned, you can save up alot of money.

Because I spent a lot of time building this car to the way I want it, and I am not even done yet. Sure it is not rare or anything, but when you spend countess hours working on it along with acquiring money to do it, you build a certain appreciation for it.

Scapegoat 12-27-2009 02:39 PM

i understand that. but its still not the same as driving a high hp collectible rwd sports car in the winter

russiankid 12-27-2009 02:42 PM

Yeah it is not, but mine isn't a high HP, yet. I plan on boosting it in a year or two.
