Because Toll doesn't want his site (business) associated with the sale of firearms and I don't blame him.

Wouldn't a simple disclaimer like other sites take care of any liability?

Can we link to our own adds else where? Pafoa, armslist, thr, etc?

Yeah, I'm looking to do this properly but I'll take it down I guess.

It should, but there would still be the association with the site.

Because I can see things from his perspective.. he doesn't want his site tied to the sale of firearms because of potential liability. Granted, he and TST had nothing to do with the transaction, but still, if something were to happen, TST's name would forever be tied to the event and he is looking to avoid that. It is a legitimate concern.

cmr076 06-08-2012 10:30 PM

I disagree, tst has a reputation (from what I hear) of a bunch of kids in riced out cars driving like assholes... Now whether that's true or not I can't say, but I hardly think a few legal firearm transactions would taint the tst image. Makes no difference to me though, I have always had fun shooting with tst guys.

~Brian~ 06-09-2012 04:20 AM

Well, people driving like assholes and incidents with firearms are two completely different issues.. Yes, the legal transactions are fine and he has nothing to worry about there, but if something were to happen during that transaction, his site would forever be associated with it. The chances of that are very slim though.. most of the firearm people on here are legit, so there really isn't anything to worry about.

Heading to wicens around noon, anyone else shooting today?

schaffer 06-10-2012 11:39 AM

If anyone Needs to unload a firearm just post up on pafao. I traded one of my Glocks within 3 days on there.

I don't think theirs anything wrong with saying hey in selling this on pafao, here's a link.

That being said, anyone have an AR they are looking
To get rid of?

THIS TIME 10000000000000!!!! I put my XD9 Tactical up there for $550 obo knowing I wouldn't get that much and I had over 15 offers for $300. I was like dafuq outta here with that nonsense!!!! Sold it to a buddy of mine for $500 + I threw in some extras for him and I'm even taking time out to show him how to properly shoot & maintain/clean the weapon today.

^^Ive sold pleny of firearms on PAFOA, and yes you get lowballed by a bunch of people, but normally i put in my threads dont even bother PM'ing me or you will be ignored...

If you are desperate as many gun owners are sometimes to unload for some extra cash you can push someone down and end up getting a good deal on a firearm as well..

It is what is is....

Armslist is good, but im not sure that is sees as much traffic as PAFOA classifieds...as really thats the only reason im apart of that forum...

99corvette 06-10-2012 02:23 PM

Honestly the last few firearms I bought to resell I sold on gunbroker. I ended up getting more money then what I was asking for even after paying gb cost.

Got my VERY FIRST handgun back, I had sold her to Steve a few years ago and regretted it ever since, she is mine again! It's like sex with an old ex... At first it's all new but once your hands are working it again, it all comes rushing back and fits like a glove again.

99corvette 06-10-2012 05:16 PM

Haha nice

Loved that gun, and it served me well for the time I had it, I told you it would be back in your hands if I were to ever get rid of it...

Now we have to get shooting

correction... sigforum is a great site, PAFOA is like a hooker, you go there when you need to unload or for cheap entertainment.

Whatya mean you can't shoot it as well. It's all about the pinky wrap. I qualified perfect with my 27 a few months about. I shoot it just as well as my full size.

I mean I can't shoot it as well, I'm not comfortable with the smaller grip both shooting and drawing the gun from a holster, that makes it a no-carry.
