I read a few articles about the LiveView feature in those. Id love to really try that out. I hear a lot of people bash the hell out of it, and others that praise it. let me know how that is!

well, if the weather is nice, i'm actually going to take the mugen out and take some pics of it with it. i've done some shot with it so far. only thing i don't like about it is the fact that the version of photoshop i'm using doesn't reconize the raw format that the 50d uses.

i had to download a raw converter program from adobe to work around that. ]

i'm used to using a pentax ist D, so, this should be different

Erik 12-25-2009 09:26 PM

i used to use CS, but it didnt recognize raw either. Kr!st! on here tought me how to use lightroom. thats all i use now. i prefer that now over photoshop. Illustrator and lightroom is all i need for my editing and what not

i use photoshop elements 5.0 for all my editing. though, i'm no where near pro quality yet.

though, i did get into a arguement with other digital photographers before. saying that all photoshop and other photo edit programs are just crutches for people who can't take a good picture to begin with.

but, can't wait till all the car meets start up again. then, i can take more pics of cars again!

russiankid 12-25-2009 09:48 PM

I have to admit this wisdom teeth extraction sucks that they stitched my gum to my cheek thus talking sucks.

That argument really tweaks my nips. saying photoshop is a crutch is like saying the the darkroom is for pussies (to the film photographer).

pierced nipples r00l!!!!

ASIAN JUL 12-25-2009 10:29 PM

Well, Photoshop is often a crutch for people who don't shoot right to begin with. I admit I did it at first for a while, but if you shoot well, most things should not need much editing. It's good for fine tuning or when people do composites or something wild but when it comes to the basics, no one should rely on Photoshop to fix what they don't do right the first time. It irks my soul when I'll tell someone their photo is crooked, underexposed, etc. and their response is "Yeah, I didn't edit at all" or "I'll just fix it in Photoshop." I do use it for things here and there but it really shouldn't be heavily relied on like it is.

On another note, the font used in Nick's TST advertising banner is the same font as my tattoo
