yeah, we put spoon engines in our civic.

i feel so tired and sleepy today. my dad called me at 1am then again at 4:30am to help him to the bathroom. then i walked to the subway and had to be around a really gross bum who was using his spit as skin moisturizer.

it never fails, almost every time i use mass transit to get to work i am reminded why i hate it so much. one time it could be a bum, some other time its high school students who insist on screaming instead of talking. then in the summer its urine smell in the walkways to the platform.

god i feel sorry for myself. i need to stop that.

hey everyone! off today, going to try and finish up christmas shopping.

Jamie, drink lots of water and I think aloe vera works better than most chapsticks

3rdGenMr2Girl 12-21-2009 01:58 PM

^ really? i actually have an aloe vera plant, i'll have to try that. i didn't know that would work.

Yeah, I used to horseback ride so I'd be out in the cold a lot and I have a terrible habit of biting my lips when I'm bored/nervous and my lips would literally crack and bleed everytime I opened them.. chapstick and stuff has chemicals in it which actually tend to dry your lips out, so I started putting aloe vera on them and BAM.. magic. It might also help to exfoliate them first

russiankid 12-21-2009 02:03 PM

Aloe Vera plants are awesome. They actually help heal many things. For example, when I got a spider bite when I was younger, putting Aloe on the wound is probably what saved me. It extracted a lot of the venom.

Olive oil and sugar is a good natural way to do it. I'm sure there's some kind of product too, but it probably has some kind of harsh chemicals in it.

Wet sand with 3000 grit?

russiankid 12-21-2009 02:23 PM

Wow, this is one hell of a mistake. My dad was getting dental work done, and the lady who deals with the insurance companies and all said our insurance covers 70% or something like that. So my dad agreed to get the work done. Got it done today, and AFTER the procedure the lady said she made a mistake and our insurance doesn't cover this. So that means my dad had to pay $1k+ right there and then. ****ing idiots, of course he isn't letting this slide because he agreed to 70% being covered.
