Big_Jim 12-18-2009 11:39 PM

ugh, great day off is turning into a bad night. fighting with the gf because of the long distance thing, and the bad weather thats coming our way.

sleeperSL2 12-18-2009 11:46 PM

How long is long distance? if ya don't mind me askin'.

Big_Jim 12-18-2009 11:49 PM

shes in the bronx n im in NE Philly.

sleeperSL2 12-18-2009 11:54 PM

that is far. i know how it is, i dated a girl who lived in florida. her aunt set us up, saw eachother 3 times a year. we dated for a year and a half

Big_Jim 12-19-2009 12:04 AM

we alternate weekends between philly and the bx. she was supposed to be coming down here tomorrow. She doesnt have the greatest of all cars, and i worry about her driving, especially with the snow thats coming. I dont want to see something happen to her, and im not able to get to her. also discussed taking the train, but not really sure how reliable that is in in climate weather.

She wants me to tell her weather or not she should come down tomorrow, but i keep on telling her its her choice, im not going to tell her what to do.

I couldnt imagine dating someone as LD as florida. There must be a very strong bond there that keeps the fire lit.

sleeperSL2 12-19-2009 12:08 AM

Totally understandable about the whether and it being her choice. It's kinda like you really want her to come, but you don't haha.

and it was a strong bond. there was never a dull moment, we didn't talk 24/7 and there was always something to talk about, i was her first "boyfriend". it was fun.

3rdGenMr2Girl 12-19-2009 12:29 AM

long distance rarely works. even being with someone an hour or so away would be rough. there's too many opportunities to meet other people, and it's hard to trust someone 100% when you hardly see them.

ASIAN JUL 12-19-2009 12:30 AM

oh my gOOOOOOOOOOOOOD girls are ****ing CRAZY. I hate them all.

End of story.

3rdGenMr2Girl 12-19-2009 12:31 AM

How about the train? Is she close to any connection to Penn Station?

angdefeo 12-19-2009 12:38 AM

After waiting in long lines at the supermarket, then driving to the mall, i am happy to say that my Christmas shopping is all but done.

14inches of snow.... F U mother nature. That much snow in the city means my car will be snowed in. And if i do the labor to shovel out my car then drive somewhere i will be left looking for parking for a long time. 40 minutes of driving in circles is not fun. This is the only time of the year that i dont like living in the city.

ASIAN JUL 12-19-2009 12:42 AM

yeah but I don't hate you Jamie, it's all good... just don't turn out to be a crazy bitch, lol

long story short my friend's ex is bat **** crazy and he just let me read through a bunch of e-mails and listened to a bunch of voicemails and she is literally the craziest ****ing person EVER.

i have been friends with him since i was like 14 and for whatever reason she hatessss me just b/c we're friends. she left him this message saying "none of your friends care about you. julie bustard, **** her. she's got no personality and she's a bitch."

either i'm a bitch, or i have no personality, make up your mind, ****.

mind you the e-mails she sent him are INSANE and long and omgggg. i can't deal with it. i would kill myself if i were a guy

I do want her to come, no doubt about it. I couldnt get to NY last weekend, because I had a benefit to go to.

Maybe its foolish of me, but I do trust her. Theres a reason that shes with me even though we're an hour n a half a part, and not with someone from her neighborhood.

Train could work, she'd have to take the MTA to penn station, then PATCO to trenton, and then the R7 to me. we talked about that, but hearing 12-18" of snow, thunder snow storms, and 40+mph wind gusts, i dont know how the train will be running. The last thing i want is for her to be stuck somewhere, and i cant get her.

God forbid something happened to her, i couldnt live with that on my conscious.

an hour and a half isn't too bad, that's doable. i'm talking 3 hours or more away.

I am a guy.....should I .... um....????

Well, i think some ladies are definitely crazy, cant disagree with you about that.

Big_Jim 12-19-2009 12:53 AM

its very rough Jamie, but we're doing it. It kills me that I cant (easily) surprise her with flowers, or dinner plans after work, but the time we spend together on the weekends is great.

Thanks Angelo.

3rdGenMr2Girl 12-19-2009 12:57 AM

^ awe you sound so sweet!

russiankid 12-19-2009 12:59 AM

Thanks Jim, making us all look like assholes.
