Sorry to say it man, that's century for you. You think your rpk is bad, look into their hk 93 clone they make, complete junk.

Anyone have experience with a Beretta Nano, Taurus 738 TCP or a Ruger LCP?
I'm looking at buying a subcompact pocket pistol, but am unsure of their reliability, or accuracy. I narrowed to those three by grip feel, and yes I'm aware they are not the same calibers, that isn't a concern.

I checked out a 738 tcp but went with a 709 instead. Close to 600 rounds through without a hiccup. Bought it to replace my CZ 70 as a work/bug. Need a Pearce grip extension though.

Have you had any issues with the trigger reset? I've seen some reviews that complained that it's tough to reset the trigger quickly because at the first sear set the hammer is only half cocked, and the second sear set is hard to feel.

I'm glad you replied tho cuz I'm definitely leaning towards the Taurus but was wary because of the trigger reset issue and hadn't heard from anyone until now about functionality.

well you can scratch accuracy off your list, because none of them are designed to be accurate. "better than nothing" is their #1 function and they're purpose-built for it. they're meant for contact distance and you will never aim with it in a self-defense scenario. most modern pocket pistols are relatively accurate due in part to better available ammo, but one won't outshine another by much so it's not even worth looking at. as far as accuracy is concerned, pick the one you like because it doesn't really matter here.

reliability, well again you're dealing with modern guns so they'll pretty much always go bang. use good ammo and learn to shoot a small gun correctly and you'll pretty much eliminate any failures. personally, i'd stick with the S&W Bodyguard .380 or the LCP because they seem to be the most proven as of now.

it's about tradeoffs. you're not going to find a pocket gun that's a nice comfortable, accurate range gun as well. it's not supposed to be. it's bare minimum because your clothing and/or situation doesn't allow you to carry something larger and better.

i used to own the TCP 738. For me atleast it was a complete POS. Every other mag it would FTF the second round. After numerous dissassembly and reassembly I sent it to Taurus, they send it back "fixed" worked fine for the first mag or two, then started with the same issues.. Sold it and have now just carry my g17, I'm done with pocket pistols. I'm sure their are nice ones out there, the tcp just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Haven't seen one in person yet, beleave they just released them not too long ago. I will say there is a lot of good reviews about them, 10/22 is the only ruger I will ever own.

Yea I hear nothing but good things about them and I wanted to get one then the new takedown came out and I'm in love with it haha. Might buy it soon to replace my Walther G22 some guy wants to trade me a glock 30 plus $125 on my end for my rifle I might do that.

I would do it, I never owned a walther g22 but I have heard they are a pain to clean. Can't go wrong with a glock.

My very reason I don't want it! Pain in the butt to clean! Only a pain cause the magazine safety spring falls and goes MIA and some kinda spring looking thing falls out as well then you gotta call S&W order the part wait weeks just annoying.
