You are lucky too. Stuff can and does more often then not randomly fail, wear out, or just need general maintance.

$15k even at 72 months with high interest is probally $300+ a month. $500is a upper engine rebuild kit and fresh timing belt kit probally. In 1 car payment, you could virtually have a new motor. See what I'm tring to get at? I'm not the most mechanicly enclined person there is but I've held my own with my car, you get a service book for your car and I'm sure with some basic tools, a week of work, and maybe a rented specialty tool, and I'd be willing to help and I'm sure we could find someone else to help too. ****, I would eat Roman Noodles all month if I had to before dropping money like that, unless I just wanted a new car in general.
