Well bought my first nfa item of the year, Was going to hold off but I saw a dealer selling suppressor and he was including the 200 dollar tax stamp. Looks like its gonna take 8 months to get it with the time transfers are taking. bought a AAC 7.62sdn-6 suppressor.

akley88 04-17-2012 08:33 AM

does any one have any experience with rock river arms ar's?

99corvette 04-17-2012 09:43 AM

never owned one but I never heard of anyone having problems with them, they are a good brand ar15.

akley88 04-17-2012 01:17 PM

cool cause im looking at getting their 458 socom ar

HaveBlue83 04-17-2012 02:02 PM

i run a RRA CL 1/9 16" middy barrel and its been good to me!

cant go wrong with them IMHO

what dealer threw in the $200?! thats awesome!

99corvette 04-17-2012 02:27 PM

since Im out of state he sold it too me for 200 less then what he was asking for with stamp included. Just have too wait for it to get too my dealer then Ill send the paper work in too the atf. Best price I found this suppressor for was 900, but then I would of had to pay the 200 dollar tax stamp, so it would of been more then what I got it for now.

HaveBlue83 04-17-2012 04:43 PM

man i would love to do a 5.56 one but the way AR's dont run/no fragmntation on subsonics its pretty pointless :/

99corvette 04-17-2012 05:06 PM

Unless you get a piston driven upper that has adjustable gas piston. I plan on running this on 5.56 guns mostly, but a 300 blackout is in the works and I just got the ok from the pa game warden that it is legal to hunt with a suppressed weapon in pa. Remington 700 in 300 blackout is on the list.

HaveBlue83 04-17-2012 11:24 PM

why is ARFCOM filled with people that just piss you off? god they are so be-all-end-all about things. dicks. lol

i actually wanted to do a silencerco sparro on the AR for .22LR use. much more fun in the long run I think + i can use it on a few different guns

schaffer 04-17-2012 11:31 PM

You guys have too much money.

I want more guns :(

HaveBlue83 04-17-2012 11:55 PM

no, we have to many guns...we dont have any money LOL.

cars AND guns are sucking me dry........

....but so far it's been 100% more positive experience than any female I have dated, so I will continue to acquire fun toy material goods :)

99corvette 04-18-2012 07:36 AM

for a 22 can I would look at the swr spectre, Thats what I use and I love it. mainly run it on a p22 but has been on a spikes tactical dedicated .22 upper 11 1/2 barrel and a few other pistols/rifles. Whats nice about the spectre is that it comes completely apart so you can fully clean and is full auto rated, works with 22 magnum, 22 short/long 17hmr and 5.7

HaveBlue83 04-18-2012 01:21 PM

99corvette 04-18-2012 01:34 PM

I am thinking of buying one. I haven't held one yet but curious to see how small it actually is. I don't want something to small because I have big hands so a small grip wouldn't work even tho you can get an extension for the clip.

Well selling my norinco mak 90 ak47, posted it on pa board had a few low ball offers, ended up putting it on gunbroker and the gun hit my reserve in less then two days with 5 more days to go, pretty happy about that.

HaveBlue83 04-20-2012 01:13 PM
