lol the only post I read from today was about Oakes getting soft.... I was like :(

lol

nah but seriously. cant wait to go to NYC. Central Park is da bomb. I just wanna go there to people watch and hang out with my girlfriend <3. My cousin has a friend who's gonna possibly hook us up with free food at a nice restaurant (totally forget what its called right now), but other than that it'll be cool to just be in the city for the day.

Pretty sure we are taking the train there. It's $22 round trip per person I believe. Much less than we'd spend in gas, tolls, and parking.

Where are you taking the train from, and how long of a ride? My girl lives in the bronx, and its a PITA to drive up there. thinking about taking the train up next time.

DPancoast 12-07-2009 07:25 PM

I was recommended to take the train from the newly renovated (and nice...) Trenton station. There is also one a little further (still in jersey) but not as settling with me lol.

Its about an hour and 20 mins and $12.50 each way from the Trenton Transit Center to Penn Station by rail. Not sure what it would take to ride the bus but I dont really feel like doing that because I feel like there's be more stops.

i think driving i spend about that much just in tolls, and then gas, and then parking on top of that! the R7 is like $7 from torresdale to trenton, and its only $4 from penn station to my girls house at 225th in the bronx, so its probably like $40 round trip.

dude, thanks for the advice!

Yeah man. It is taking so long because of waiting for parts. I have everything I need (at least I hope) so I should be good to.
