There is a 24 hour dunkin donuts nearby, and brunswick zone is also in that same area. They also have an IHOP near both DD and brunswick zone, but i have no idea when it's open. I used to live in this town. The cops shouldn't give us much trouble, but i emplore you all if we do meet there, do not speed or rev engines, because there are, as you can see in the map, houses right near by, and because its a retail area police do storefront patrols as well. Also, if people could park in an organized way it would help the situation a bunch.

Ummm... this thread is titled, "Official Thursday Meets @ The Dump 7pm." Not, "Official Thursday Meets @ The Parking Garage." I can see why he doesn't see many cars at the Dump anymore.

it may say "Official Thursday Meets @ The Dump 7pm." but if you had read the thread for the last hmmm.. 5 or 6 pages you would of read where everyone says that they decided to go to the parking garage instead. Maybe the whole post about where the cop was a dick at the dump that one night would of tipped you off as to why we had moved it.. just a suggestion though.

Why dont you just stop being ****ing lazy and read the last couple pages. Because I think that title was more confusing then just reading the past page or 2 of a thread.

either way, i think you are one of the very few people having a problem with the labeling of the thread...if it bothers you that much i'm sure you can start a new thread. True, people will probably get confused because they are use to coming to this thread to figure out where we are going this week, but as long as you are happy screw everyone else:screwy:.

"Thursday Night Meets" sounds like a good title to me. Someone can be responsible for editing the first post to show where that week's meet will be. How hard can that be?

thursday night meets wouldn't work, because if you look in the upcoming events forum, there is another thread called "yet another thursday night meet" so i'm pretty sure, that there's more than one meet on thursdays

Anyone can start any meet ubut remember this meet was started arround the thursday night meet and i don't think anyone wants to see it go.

How hard can it be to read the last few posts. If you have enough time to drive up to the meet, then you have enough time to read the last few posts of the thread before hand.

Im not characterizing you, i'm making a simple observation. You don't feel like reading the thread, you would rather just be confused and sit on here and complain that we should do this and that to the title and/or make a new thread.

Well, changing the title is up to the person who posted the first post. And I would think that changing the title to "Thursday Night meets" would confuse a hell of a lot more people. Esp if they go to look for the Dump thread and see it no longer exists, so they might just start going to a completely different meet or stop going all together.

So just stop, this is stupid. It's simple... read the thread and you won't be confused.

How about we simply pick one spot for each week, and not rely on one spot for any 2 weeks in a row unless we are 100% certain it will work. We should mix it up to give people a chance who might not want to drive so far. Princeton, philly, trenton, etc. Mix it up so we don't have a chance to wear out our welcome. People having phone numbers of at least 2 other regular attendees might work as well. I mean, it can get as organized as you want it to be. One thing is clear, we need better communication so people don't show up to an empty spot where they thought the meet was going to be. I'm sorry we're having such trouble finding a good location. I will keep my eyes and ears open.
