Epiphany it is! Think itll stay at 170? Or go up? haha
I could stay up and watch it, but I need to be at work at 5am. Anyone willing, just IM me the price at 1145 lol. |
matrix wont sell. bid on the smart parts.
i hope it dont go up :(
Now i gotta find a tank and other few tid bits. |
get an NO tank. none of that co2 crap, you'll tear that gun to pieces
yea, thats going to be the expensive part, and paint. Hopefully ill be able to go on the 28th
no tanks arent that expensive anymore. get a small one, fill ups are like 25cents
ughhhhh i wanna get back in to it soo bad but im too poor must stay away from this thread
^^haha right? Ive been reading this and now my away message is calling people to go play woodsball. ugh damn! i dont have the money for this! lol
Lets get a game going!
I remember back in the day when my Spyder TL was a decent gun, and cost nearly $200.
Now sports authority has full auto paintball guns for $75. WHAT THE ****!?!??!?!?!? It's amazing how much paintball has changed, probably for the better. LOTS OF FUN!!! |
i just bought an extremely cheap spyder on ebay for 30 shipped with tank and 2 barrels to play woodsball with my roomate. i know its ****ty and such, but its woodsball, nobody else has super expensive markers. Ill just mod the bolt and trigger as far as i can and go with it.

are you serious? you know what kind of damage a co2 tank can do to a high end gun? capacity has nothing to do with the performance of the air going through the gun. why dont you go read instead of making blind comments cause clearly you have no clue what you're talking about. most high end guns wont eve run on co2. N2 all the way
ouch did you already buy the epiphany? cause i would have really gone with a PM6 over that.
i run c02 in my sft shocker all the time... but it doesn't work right for some reason:lol:

o no **** about the NO... your not supposed to run the Co2 in it... thats like putting gas in a diesel... I was stating about u said... U said the tanks ain't much. Thats a lie. or you must think 150 is cheap |
my spyder jams alot.. I like it but I hate it.. Umm.. Go up to Paintball on the fly .. Tell the owner that Laura sent ya and you need a good cheap marker. They have a few there..How cheap tho?
yep, got the epiphany, should be here by weds since its coming from NJ. just need to get a tank and some paint. I know I have 2 20oz co2 tanks at home. is Co2 really that bad?
who wants to play next weekend? I'm on vaca and will be willing to play. |
i might have an extra tank for you to use... i had a team for a bit so i have tons of gear. and ill be up for playing Sunday but has to be after 3 for me
now i have to decide if i wanna mess with the shocker or rock the phantom... decisions decisions.

N2 tanks USED TO BE like 150 a tank, now you can find them for 50...so its not like there is a huge increase, i also think N2 is better "gas" wise than CO2
ok ill order one today, or someone wanna sell me one? :)
lets play! I just got off of craigslist, 10 passes for LV paintball, 30$. includes rentals and all. anyone wanna play someday next week? |
N2 is wayyyyyyyyyyyy more consistent than co2 could ever be. temperature changes with co2 effect the pressure so much that ball speeds are up and down and are liable to get you banned from a field if its too high. not to mention the damage that the cold from the co2 will do to internals of a marker. everybody should be using N2, there is absolutely no reason not to

Im not talking about Co2 in a NO tank. Im agreeing with u on you can't run Co2 in some guns because they weren't designed to run on it. But the $60 tanks suck. They don't hold much. They look like the same size tank and they pretty much are the same size except they hold different amounts of NO gas. Edit- NO is a good gas to use if your speedballing. In the woods your not constantly firing so its not really a big deal. But it is really consistent. Especially for people that have a flatline barrel with response trigger. They NEED NO gas cause the temp change effects the flatline barel system way too much... |
i have a 64ci 3000psi tank and it lasts me all day. small tanks are fine, and anywhere you play nowadays is going to have N2 at the field which is like $1 to fill up so getting filled is not a big deal at all. I will NEVER use co2 again.
what would be a decently cheap hopper for the mean time?
some sort of electric hopper. they make some badass hoppers nowadays but you could prolly get away with a 12v hopper. i'd look into something maybe a tiny bit better than those because a hopper can become very limiting, very fast.
nice deal there
it keeps going up grr
i got it :)
