It would be sick if it had AWD, but if it did it would be using the Volvo AWD system which is good but not the most reliable.

The revo-knuckle system it uses is VERY good.

Co-Founding one of the largest Skate clothing companies in the world allows you to do stuff like that.

I wouldn't say co founding DC Shoes made him famous...

Foolinaround 01-10-2010 03:52 PM

I knew who he was before he rallied.

mcperson2k 01-10-2010 06:11 PM

I bet a lot of people knew who he was... But that doesn't make him a celebrity like he is today. You could say 'Ken Block' is now a brand name because of what hes done inside of rallie cars.

Foolinaround 01-10-2010 06:17 PM

True,i mean he was wealthy famous, but not internet house hold name.

The question is what does Pac Sun do now since they don't currently market ford apparel?

Order new hoodies?

But Ford Doesn't do skateboards, motocross, or surfing and I don't think they will allow DC to piggy back on them, not exactly their consumer market.

Looks like Pac Sun will have to find new hoodies to replace all those Monster Ken Block things. I love seeing kids wearing them who have no idea who he is and just bought it because it said Monster.

I think Ford will do whatever it takes to get 'in the market'. And something tells me Block wouldn't sign any deals that didn't include DC.

there is a picture in the article that shows the ford logo on the shirt instead of subaru. im sure its going to happen soon.

i dont have any of his monster hoodies now, but if they throw a ford emblem on there i just might have to scoop one up

Its a great move for Ken Block AND Ford. Ken Block wanted to race in the WRC, Subaru was no longer in it so he went with Ford. Ford has one hell of a motorsports program. Hell, my favorite car of all time is a Ford RS200.

Its a great move for Ford because Ken Block is going to bring awareness to the brand and not to Mustangs. What Ken Block did with Subaru in his Gymkhana videos is what he is going to do with Ford.

Ken Block is also going to be racing in Rally America with a Fiesta. I can't wait!

TJs98GT 01-14-2010 02:51 PM

i cant wait to check it out either. both the fiest and focus rs will be awesome cars to see him drive. hoping that i see gymkhana videos of him in a focus rs.

ford def has a great motorsports program. i mean, they offer body in white cars from the factory to buy brand new, as well as turn key race cars for all different styles of racing through the ford racing division.
