woohoo practice sesh this weekend. where we gonna go, i think we should keep last saturdays spot on the DL for now, that's the last spot i would want to lose. just considering how big and how much fun we had there last time. i just want somewhere to practice transitions. The transitions with my car i still need to perfect. it aint easy when ur damn car weighs 3600lbs!!!

Am I invited? i would have come the other night but I just wanted to go home. I want to come out and at least try before I go to CL at the end of the month.

i want all the drifters and potential drifters and even the people who are unsure about drifting to come, if your going to practice you might as well pick up a few pointers and watch some technique. that helps soooooo much in the learning process of drifting. so please all give it a shot. love to see more people getting sideways and though i'm not the best drifter on this forum i am more than willing to help newcomers to the sport, and i'm sure some of the other excellent A and B class drifters here would be willing to help teach people during a practice session that we may have this weekend =]

omgjacki 07-02-2009 11:24 AM

=) I'll be there! I'd love to see a girl drifting, too bad it has to be me.

My boyfriend is an A driver. I've seen his style and his technique so much I could do it in my sleep. I just need to get out there and actully do it myself. Just a few minor adjustments and I'll be ready.

Vinny 07-02-2009 11:28 AM

hahaha, I'll 'practice' too, sike, pictures tho, just need some lighting.

i think that last saturday cepa's g/f was sliding his car for a minute wasnt she? or was i inhaling too much tire smoke?

Vinny 07-02-2009 11:37 AM

I don't slide (yet). I prefer grip as of now.
I do mess around once in awhile and kick the rear end out in the rain, but I can't afford burning through tires since I don't have easy access to replacements or money to do so. It's my only car too.

omgjacki 07-02-2009 11:38 AM

My friends Tony and Tara, the one with the flat-tan SR20 hatch, were switching back and forth. Tara's the only girl I know was sliding that day though.
