He's not buying perfectly good cars, these things were probably put there 30-40 years ago when they were junked and have just sat there.

And they are for sale too, he's not hording them.

How do you know that? If you think about it, this **** didn't happen over night. 200+ acres of countless automobiles, I'm sure that some were probably in nice condition. He may be selling them but he's def ****ed up in the head.

There is a guy like this near me. Has about a miles worth of all kinds of old trucks. I would love to just wonder around that place.

at one point those cars where in good shape or restorable shape, which sucks theres a good chance there would be some very valuable cars if they could be restored

this is a car junkyard. probably hundreds like it in the country. great for parts, but most of the cars were junk when they got there. get over it.

Sadly, I live maybe 35 min from this place. I have yet to get some people together to head there.

I might try to see what I can do, get some people from a local group here, and check this out. I need a good camera before I head over though.


I am sure at one point, many of these cars were worth the time to restore, but now, they are just scrap metal.

I should of posted this on a classic car forum rather then a young male import forum. They'd actually know that there are still things in there that are worth good money.

Sure, there are some drivetrain/trim/glass/Stainless Steel parts that are worth money.

I'm just saying that these old junk yards are all over the place. I've been to 2 of them around here. It's what they used to do with cars back in the 50s and 60s.

Maybe like 20-25 years ago they MIGHT of been in restorable shape. But 20-25 years ago nobody thought about them like that. At the time they were 15 year old busted cars that noone wanted.

Take for example a 1987 camaro z28. If you see that in a junkyard are you gonna be like "OMG A 1987 Z28 CAMARO. WE HAVE TO TAKE THAT AND FULLY RESTORE IT''.....not a chance. But in another 20 years...people might think it is worth something.

Restoring a car with the amount of damage that those cars in the pictures have is an INSANE amount of work. You obvousily have NO IDEA what goes into restoring a car if you think alot of those cars can be saved.

We restored a 1969 Camaro SS two years ago. It needed ALOT of chassis work when we got the car. Floor pan, trunk pan......and we STILL payed 15k for the BONE STOCK car. The car ended up being Rob Dyrdeks Rouge Status Camaro.....

The main thing I care about in this thread is how big this place is. I want to see a place top this one.
