I love the rising flag valve cover, saw someone do it to a Spec V and it makes me want to paint mine. I just feel stupid seeing as how my car is as far from JDM as it can be... the only thing Japanese is... well sh*t nothing is Japanese. Maybe my brake pads are.

Anyways, I really like the car and those wheels you cant identify are incredible. I wanna see this thing slammed.

Thanks for the comment. I want to see this dropped too on some wider wheels. It handles like **** on the highway. Took some shots today after I shaved the faded trim.

I was actually planning on doing it myself, but thanks for the recommendation.

I wish it was my idea, but ive seen it done countless times on Japanese cars. My idea was to make it fade to black on the edges. :supz:

Ebay, but if you have the cash, you should probably get something more official, such as cibie, or hella.

Theres some knock off kits similar to the east bear ones on ebay. Also i found this which would be alot cooler then the knockoffs.

the east bear is so much nicer. it looks like the stock front end but with the flip ups down. i wish they made a cheap kit that coppied it

I installed some leds, I still need to angle them correctly, because you don't really see them on some buttons, but its still a huge improvement over nothing working. I cant wait till I have time to do the gauge cluster, im also gonna make the needles red.

Can anyone verify that these are installed correctly, I did not know that the bolt on the right of the new end needs to be reused from the old one, so I had the blue piece screwed all the way tight, and the joint barely holding on. Then it all fell apart when I pulled out. Now the've been holding, but I would hate if it came off on the highway.

hey, one of my stickers would look so great on that back window... ;)

and not sure on the tie rod ends, as my 240 doesnt use them.. :(

White Comet 04-28-2009 03:00 AM

Marino. 05-07-2009 09:52 PM

Thanks for the comments guys. I still need to register on your forum Nick, last time I tried, I kept getting internal server errors. :(

Got some used Cusco Strut Bars. It feels great, I just needs to notch the plastic in the rear.

Doesn't light much more, but it looks better.

Marino. 05-23-2009 09:35 PM

I couldn't find any universal fogs that didn't look like ****, so I got the honda civic ones. For $30 I got the whole kit with harness, switch, relay, etc.

I made my own switch setup, because the honda one didn't match my car. Notice the super JDM tilt.

I also changed the city lights from blue to a whitish yellow.

They work good enough so that I can roll around without my headlights all the way up.:afro:

Teku18 05-24-2009 02:40 AM

nice man.

jspek 05-24-2009 02:49 AM

nice coupe you have here. good job on cleaning it up. and i love that ignition light.

drifty240 05-24-2009 10:35 AM

Do you close up of the fog lights installed? how and were are they mounted ?

Marino. 05-24-2009 12:53 PM

I bent the honda brackets so that they would match up with holes on the bumper support. It required no drilling, just some cutting of the factory bumper. I was only able to do one of the brackets, because it too hard to reach the inner hole with the bumper still on, so I might take the bumper off one day to secure the foglights right.
