Yea i want a "real" ride in one. A small car lot by me had one i was thinking of buying and he gave me a ride....i was like damn this cars got power but he drove the car normal and only a little over the speed limit

woah woah, i might be a little lost cause i skimmed through the threads and didnt read it all but, that black and red mustang with the "ricer" exhausts coming out that was out, im pretty sure is not a cobra and pulled like an 13.4(or something close to that, i dont think lower at all) at atco sunday.. but im pretty sure its just a gt not a cobra....then again maybe this isnt even the car you guys are talking about i just flipped through the pages

That car wasn't even in question...the Evo didn't wanna waste his gas racing that kid. The car I was talking about was the blue Cobra

Yeah. The Cobra is a monster when it comes to torque. I have to say, there is something beastly about that car. :supz: If the EVO/STI wasn't here in the states... I would consider the big snake. The sight and sound of that thing launching are something to behold.

And stock vs. stock, the Cobra usually has a higher trap speed. I've seen about equal quarter mile times however (low 13.3, 13.2 etc.)

But I think it says a lot when the little EVO keeps getting attacked by some of the heaviest iron on the street. :thumbup: And the EVO was never intended as a drag racer (it's a rally car.)

There seems to be a rivalry growing between the Cobra and the EVO, almost more then the EVO/STI. I've raced more Cobras then I can count... and each time... it feels like war. :mrgreen:

Just kidding. I just had to interject. Can't let the EVO/STI rivalry go by the wayside.

There will always be a rivalry with the EVO/STI. But I don't think our two cars "hate" each other. We can get in to a bar fight, bring down the house, and then buy each other a drink... no problem. ;)

But their seems to be some "bad blood" growing between the Cobra and EVO, I'm not sure why. It's the bad blood I'm speaking on. :mrgreen:

I never have any serious problems with the STIs (we're just sharpening swords) but when a Cobra steps up... (damn! Time to take the gloves off.) :mrgreen:

it was me also in this and the track my car is modded and i can drive and i have beaten many supposed fast cars getting tuned at buschur friday man its weird to join a sight and see people talkin about you

Reminds me of the video where Tiff Needell had a quote along those lines. I don't remember what he said for the evo, but he had a couple choice quotes, like:

The STi just says "you, outside, NOW!"

"Let's go out for a curry, and a fight"

"Smells like burnt clutch, and oil. Just splash it on, and go for a night out on the town"

I'm sure I've butchered teh quotes pretty well, but you get the idea. Funny video!
