I had a buddy run a blouch 2.5R on his wrx with a fmic, 850cc injectors, meth, and some other supporting mods and hit 400whp no problem and hit peak boost at 4k. It was tuned at precision and the car was very fast.

Ya Ive been taking my car there a few times now, theyre kinda pricey but damn they know their stuff.

Ok so at this point Im beginning to look for wheels. Ive been doing research and I will continue to do so, but Id like to hear any of ur suggestions.

My criteria is as follows: Obviously I need 5X100 wheels that will clear my brembos, Looking for gunmetal wheels (or black, but deff not gold, could have them painted or PCd but id prefer not), and Im not looking to spend too much like 750 tops (unless they have been sent by God himself).

I am looking to buy used as their aint too many good rims new in this price range (unless im mistaken plz correct me) I am open to options. So anything is helpful. thanks

I know alot of people are iffy about having 2 colors of wheels on a car. But these are not so different that it actually works really well. Especially when you consider that you can only see one side of the car at a time. Also, since I was looking at both black and dark gray wheels, this works out great for me. Im very happy with it.

um, yeah....you're gonna have to get them all the same color...and apparently one side has center caps and one side doesnt? Dude, don't half-ass this car... :(

nope, sorry guys im keeping them two colors at least for a while. Its something you need to see in person to really get. Also the colors themselves are not so different and wont be noticed by people who dont know. Im working on the cap issues. but it doesnt bug me all that much, however I will be fixing it. If anyone knows where I can buy som Volk caps or just the little cap cover that say "rays volk" Please let me know. I know ebay but I already have a fake set that Nick got on ebay from some fake guy.

You all seem to play into the whole writing off two colors thing. Im glad, because I love when people write things off at first, then see it, and realize how mistaken they were. Its not like one side is orange and the other is blue. Look for my car at meets and make up ur assumptions off what it looks like in person.

Tyler, Id love to get tint, but its just so impractical with the reduced visibility and the police attention. I will be tinting the reverse lights though.

lol @ purple wheels and another big LOL @ mismatched VOLKS. whether its noticeable or not, its ****in stupid. take those damn things off and get them done the right way you silly noob. they look awful to be in black anyway, get them done in a lighter color that shows the detail that those wheels deserve.

O how interesting, 2 of my biggest haters chiming in. think what you like about the multi colors, the simple fact is that it works and everyone who's seen it in person has creamed themselves. (which is alot of people fyi) so the opinions of certain individuals who have issues with me are irrelevant. I could've done a full rotated kit and built the motor to put out over 500whp and u would still be talking ****. The simple fact is that I got a good deal on some very good rims. Theyre not perfect, but they dont have any real problems that hinder their functionality or even their looks at all. But in all seriousness, the fact that you are hating on it tells me that im doing something right, something outside the box, something that separates my subie from the vast others. so Buster and frog man (ur avi is really old btw, and kinda gay) thank you for ur hate :mrgreen:

And btw, color is a preference of the owner. I personally love dark wheels. And Im not a tool bag that will go spend money to change wheels I like to please wise ass people who think they know ****. (for the record I respect buster more than frog man. Buster is just a hothead sometimes, but seems to know about things) I looked around at rims for the last few months and on and off for the last few years. I could never decide b/w black and gray so this opportunity came up and I gave it some thought. And the more I thought about it, the more I liked it. The more I see it, the more I like it. I will fix the small issues with the caps if I want to, but honestly they look fine. Im not a perfectionist. This is a street car, my daily driver. Nothing is perfect, but it does work and it works very well. The simple fact is that, form over function, I got Volks for 1/3 the price of new ones, and they are damn good wheels. This isnt cheaping out by any means because the bottom line is the exact same as if I had dropped $4k on new ones. And for all of you who nit pick everything demanding perfection, you really dont know anything about cars, your the type of people that would buy a lamborghini and would keep it in the garage all the time. Disgrace. A car is about driving and function. If u care so much about looks, then save ur money and dont buy performance parts, make a show car and keep ur hood closed. It is a waste to make such a glorious machine and to let it sit static all the time. Stop nit picking and get out and drive or stfu.
