Dont take this at all the wrong way, Im not trying to start a huge debate here, but...
1. It is impossible to make 600hp on 440cc injectors. On a 4cly motor, they will normally support about 300hp max and even thats pushing it. You can push them to 360 with an fpr, but its very dangerous at that point. 2. Cams not installed? Stock cams do not have enough flow for that kind of power. 3. You have a stock and very restrictive intake manifold. 4. the gt30r is usually good for about 450hp. 5. no dyno sheet. Again, please dont take my comments the wrong way. You have a very cool car and I like it a lot. |

My car is a swap/conversion. We normally call them the GT-Two, because its got the engine and body parts from the gt4, yet still retains the fwd setup from the celica GT. |
meet was tight yo shoulda brought my talon

wow looks like a really nice group of cars came out... lots of cool stuff and some that i havent seen before. hope to see some of them at the tyler state park meet in newtown, pa next weekend!

I'm just gonna come out and say it that gti doesn't make 621 whp, but hey looks like a good turnout, I was playin hockey down the road saw a lot of the cars drive by.
|
And I have another question about the gti, and I'm not tryin to sound mean but why in your build do you have several different pistons, cranks, connecting rods in your build, did you just drop it off and the shop told you the car will make that power and they gave you a mod list.

i bought a motor from eurospec do to them having a great rep its a fully built 1.8t with head it has other cams not stock but i didnt put that down i dont remember what degree they are. intake manifold is a big port not stock just looks like it and alot cheaper then the 034 motorsport manifold .I did drop off the car at a friends shop over in NJ and eurospec sent the motor to them but i saw all the extras that i was told to buy from the eurospec dealer the car pushed 621 on 24 psi i was their for that 1 pull leaned out like crazy but held up. im only pushing 16 psi as i was watching the gauge on the way home from the shore so i have no idea what it would be making at this point like i said im taking the car up for a check up do to the car smoking up at idle and to swap the wastegate spring also do 630cc injectors and retune for scca track specs i just went on the site and started to copy what i remember buying total comes out to about $9,000 not including what i had bought before hand i understand that when someone claims this much and no dyno sheet can be posted is a wacked but give me some time guys ill get some stuff up maybe a video of it on the dyno to thats always the best proof |

2 cams are not stock i just dont know the degree that are in at this point 3 034 big port intake manifold not stock no way restrictive but will be pulled when they finish their new crazy ass race manifold and 5 ur right no proof that sucks for me but ill post something up and but not lest i dont take things the wrong way im just saying what i was told |
great vid lol

you're not going to make 621whp on 630cc injectors either and I dunno about that turbo either. I can believe a 350-400whp 1.8t but nothing more without some very extensive work and by that point it's not worth the money you spend.
|
That GTI was quick, but even when he managed to get it into gear, it didnt take off like a 600hp car.
My guesstimate at the meet was 300-325whp. I still think I'm close. ;) |
lol @ 440's and 600 whp.
