If you're ever out by University City, there's a place at 43rd & Walnut. It's an Indian grocery store, has a great selection of tobacco - CHEAP, too. Good brands, like $8 for a large box.

This is almost on the verge of lock down. I can feel it in my loins.

haha got the email notification with your original post, was gonna sign back on and tear ya apart on that one!

ayup...perfectly legal.

Gave up the "less than legal" alternative 5 years ago, definitely don't miss it.

Of course, now I can be found with a tin ring in my back jean pocket, but that's another story...

I've been to Wonderland in Philly (Rittenhouse Sq area) but it is kind of disappointing for hookah fans. When I was there last time (a few years back) their tobacco selection wasn't so hot... mostly the small 50g boxes, and the brands that are usually given away free with Hookah purchases online. They were wrapped, which killed the idea to smell sample them, plus were marked up pretty high. In other words, probably not worth the trip there.

There's also a place on Rt 70 in the Cherry Hill NJ area... couscousnj.com
If you're looking for supplies, there's a little shop in between Couscous and the Mediterranean restaurant in front. To be honest, I've only gone there to purchases coals, but their tobacco selection looked better than other local places I've been.

I've always found it hard to recommend different tobacco brands... everybody seems to have different preferences. I rec'd a sample pack of several flavors of Fumari as a gift. I really dig some of them... if you're into the more "modern" style wet types.

Fig Cafe is good for busting underage drinkers and finding Philly kids with pot who can't stay in their lane on York Rd.
