ray you're thinkin of moving already? hell let me know when, if it's a few years like you mentioned i may just be ready to pick up a house.. you might have the easiest sale ever.

p.s. go with the mitsu. because you know you're gonna have to drive it occasionally.. and do you really want to be seen driving a rabbit?

whats the difference.......ray, its you.......what ever you buy your just gonna mod the hell out of it in the first week anyway. but if your serious about a civic do it before i quit my job (or get fired) and ill hook ya up. i might know someone who would want the evo.

..................or i can get you a great deal on a slightly used SRT4..............just puttin it out there.

Buy the Rabbit. The Lancer is a chick car, the Civic is a Civic, the Mazda3 is just meh, but the Rabbit is DOPE.

The rabbits are peppy too. I drove one when I was 1st thinking of getting rid of the Beetle. There nice and all but I think you'd be happier with the Lancer. What is the price range you are looking at? I know the Rabbit fully equipt (4-dr) is like $18k.

VW.

Hate to say it as a Honda-kid, but it far out performs your other logical choices on there.

That and they are hella-comfortable to drive; and pretty damn fun and practical.

VW wins this round.

I think there are too many variables here

1.) What will be the main purpose of the car?
2.) Is resale value a concearn?
3.) What features are you looking for in a car?
4.) What is your price range?
