Oh its still getting done.
It didn't have anything to do with the club...that is Glenn's personal business project. www.dominatamotorcraft.com It's in its final stages of construction now. Year-ish left. |

I'm thinking this car is going to have to be sold as a kit car because i cant imagine bmw or chevy or any major company releasing the rights to use their own engines or drivetrains for anyone let alone a small 1 person shop run out of some guys barn. and then there is the good thread about this on sportscarforums: http://www.sportscarforums.com/f8/co...sive-2549.html The best part is the random people signing up and posting trying to defend this horrible looking, non-existant car. Debut at 2005 Ny auto show huh? |
LoL think what you want...but with a company that started with 3 people and their independant budgets...how quickly would you like something like that to come around.
I've been involved in small pieces of that here and there...and I'll tell you...that things HAVE been pushed back quite a bit. You can only do so much when starting a company like that...ask Rod Trenne (Corvette Project) you do your 1/2 then the rest goes into the design company (Macro-whatever the **** they are called) and you have to wait. It's in their hands...just wait and see...just stop hatin' in the meantime...I don't see anyone else trying to come up with anything CLOSE... |
Oh and 'slowevo' who the hell are you?
|
i dont see why everyone is ****tin on LC or the "D" car. stuff like this takes time. especially if its the 1st one being made + im sure they are doing it on their own budget, they arent factory BMW.... i think its awsome that these guys are doing this, maybe it will get them well known and help the company along the way...

You seem like a decent person...and a Honda head. PM me when you get this. |
if he ever builds this car and sells it BMW is gonna have a law suit on his a$$. as for the 1000hp ls1, WTF??? dude couldn't keep his pos grand national on the road. it blew head gaskets once a week and broke cranks every other. how does he think hes gonna build a TT LS1. last fact is he drives a 94 caddy his parents gave him and a 73 vette he bought for 3 grand. the vette is what we like to call a 50 footer. from 50 feet it looks good til you get up close. why would someone who is willing to spend 1/2 million bucks on a car buy one of these?? look at what the owner drives! he cant keep his own stuff on the road and now he wants people to buy a car he built from the ground up for some crazy a$$ money. dude nuts! thats it. this company is not going anywhere, but into the ground.
