So if the cops come this week and tell you guys that you cant have meets anymore because of previous complaints form burnouts you are not responsible for that??????
If you go and act like an ass you are not only representing yourself but the rest of the group as well. People who see a group gathering arent going to be able to differentiate between who is a regular & part of a group and some random idiot showing up trying to be a cool guy showiing off.

i don't go to "show off", i go to see if anybody wants to "race" me or if there is any "fast" junkpiles there. didn't see any- alot of bling and a few nicely setup road racing cars (cool in my book, again if you have the bank roll- drag racing is WAY cheaper).

even the guy in the lambo didnt' want race, instead he did a 100 foot burnout inches away from parked cars, with a car coming the opposite way, then said "can your car do a burnout like that?" when i asked him if he wanted to run. i even told him to bring that overpriced excuse for a modified viper out (henessey) to run me but he declined, and started quoting magazine articles, 0-60mph stats, and the size of his wheels, and how much the paint job costs etc...

yeah?
i am also responsible to pioneer the meets so why dont u back off
i personally started the mini-meet series myself and now yall start criticizing me
thats obscene
you know what else is ridiculous?
i dont get any credits what so ever for getting people to the meets to start the ball rolling...
i picked the time, i picked the location, i went through the good days and bad days, i spammed forusm to get people to know the meets and what do i get
8 meets later i get people telling me to leave the meet i started
bull**** thats what i say

sechsgang 05-14-2006 08:25 AM

(refferring to SLEEPERSTYLE)ya, but Terry is a 50 yr old man, not one of the young people w/daddy's money, he bought the cars...and ya, he too acts a bit haughy, but jeez, you dont even KNOW him...

A
and as for me and my M, YES "daddy" bought it for me. But, he bought it knowing my obscession and knowing that he wanted to do something with me. He wanted somthing he could build up with me and have fun with while we are BOTH in our better times. Whats the problem with that??? We will be taking that car to autoxs and track events...we will be doing that all throughout summer. Ya, i have A's, and do what im told...but that isnt even part of it.

Your a human being, if you had something you wanted nearly more then anything but thought it was just too far out of reach to ASK for (which i did not) and someone (who cares who they are) just says...hey...wanna do it (you know what i mean for that)...you would be the happiest bugger in the world!!

And as for the coming to see if anyone wants to race you...im pretty sure i speak for most people when we say thats NOT what we want at these meets...dosnt mean that you couldnt end up taking someone to a Drag Strip...but coming to the meet JUST to find people to race isnt coming with the best intention.

Im not trying to start anything. Just try not to generalize these young kids stuck uppiness(...not a word...but o well...), and try to accept that these people are usually just as enthusiastic as you...or maybe it should be the other way around...

sleeperstyle- what car do you drive?

ill agree wtih you to a point. yes, there are a few really young guys with cars that are far beyond the price range that most people can afford, but dont hate on them for it. everyone i have met is really cool and fun to hang with.

i never look at the price tag of anyones car. i look at the work thats been done to it, and give respect if the owner did his own work to make the car what it is. anyone can make money and buy an expensive car, but not everyone can take a normal car and make it something special with their own two hands.

Im new to the this board, but not new to the scene. I have been with the Milla group for a very long time, and I cant stress enough how disapointed I was on Friday night with the donuts and fly-bys. That is only good for one thing and thats for us to be asked to leave that area.
We have a good thing going, if the organizer asked people not to do burnouts and donuts, maybe we can respect John and the meeting spot and not do them.
and if someone with a nice car is a jerk-off dont talk to them, talk to someone that is freindly and wants to talk about there car or just cars.
I drive a the silver corvette z06, and everyone that I have meet at Milla's meets have been pretty cool. My freinds drive some pretty cool cars M3,Porsche's,camaro's, and vettes, although some peeps might not think there cool, if you want to talk about cars we are always areound to BS.
Sorry about the long rant.

Krissrock 05-14-2006 01:09 PM

If you guys have anything to say to somebody, say it to their face... Really, for you guys who can't follow directions, don't come. OK, watching doughnuts are cool...but having the police come out is not cool. and they will come eventually.

just wanted to make an observation that many times in the past people have been made to look like fools by posting things of this nature from 'what they heard' cause its not always right.
and sleeper, looks like this guy is extending his hand to you and being pretty cool... in case you hadnt noticed.

regardless of the po'boy hardcore dragracers vs. spoiled clueless rich kids and the attention deprived burnout idiots and whatever else may be going on in KOPville, i have high hopes for this meet and am looking forward to getting out to it soon.

I wanna go to one of these meets...I will have to catch a ride with someone since I am carless.

EDIT: Maybe I should check the bus fairs from NJ.
